In the serene town of Summerset Falls, nestled in the mountains, the morning sun filtered through the open windows of an old inn, casting warm light over its rustic wooden interior. The sound of rushing water from the nearby waterfall filled the air, providing a soothing background to the breakfast chatter below.

Nina stirred slowly awake, her golden blonde hair spilling around her shoulders like a halo. She blinked against the soft morning light, noting the warmth by her side. Curiously, she turned to find a little boy sleeping peacefully next to her, holding her finger with an innocent grip. His dark black hair and brown eyes looked oddly familiar, but she brushed the thought aside. This world was filled with mysteries, and perhaps this child was just another one to unravel.

"It's time to wake up, sleepyhead," she whispered gently, brushing her fingers through the boy's hair. As his brown eyes fluttered open, a joy bubbled within her. She carefully lifted him from the bed and cradled him in her arms, enjoying the softness of his small form against her chest.

Raphael, her strong partner with wavy brown hair and piercing blue eyes, had already joined the others in the dining hall, filling the air with hearty laughter. When Nina arrived, her heart swelled at the sight of the jovial party.

"Gee, you really slept like a log," Gaston, the muscular, white-haired mage, joked, taking a swig from his tankard. A mischievous glint sparkled in his brown eyes as he eyed the child. "And with a new friend, no less!"

"Are you feeling down?" Sera, the ever-concerned archer with her golden hair tied back, peered at Nina.

But Nina shook her head, dismissing the concern with a smile. "Just enjoying the quiet moments," she replied, settling into a chair and placing the boy in her lap, basking in the warmth of their camaraderie.

As they settled around the table, plates piled high with breakfast began circulating through the party. Laughter resonated through the warm wooden room, mixing with tales of both adventure and mischief.

They shared stories of their encounters, weaving in humor and camaraderie until the morning transformed into noon, the sun shining brighter over the clear waters of the lake visible beyond the inn.

When the final bites were finished, and laughter began to fade into plans for the day, Raphael stood, clapping his hands together. "It's time to depart for Roesheuvel. New adventures await us, and I suspect this little one might enjoy the journey."

In the distance, Raphael spotted Mr. Yohan Schiller, an esteemed merchant renowned throughout the continent of Eupora. The older man was instructing his young coachman, Fredrick, to secure the last of the cargo inside the carriage. Raphael approached, intrigued to engage the man who wielded power in the world of commerce.

"Mr. Schiller," he called, giving a respectful nod. "I hope your trip will be swift and prosperous."

Schiller straightened, his elegant white beard catching the sunlight as he smiled knowingly. "The same to you, brave adventurer. Make sure those monsters don't spoil our roads," he jested, eyes twinkling.
