The Royal Advisor to King Leo Reuben had just announced that the threats facing the kingdom were far from quelled. The revelation of a decoy used to mislead the kingdom's defenses sent tremors of dread into the hearts of adventurers and soldiers alike.

Raphael, the strong and steadfast leader of "The Guardians of Vianden," felt the weight of his responsibilities pressing down on him. His blue eyes, usually filled with warmth and vigor, now shone with an intense determination. He had one priority: to protect his beloved wife, Nina, their three-month-old son, Viktor, and the safety of their hometown.

As he navigated the crowded hallways of the castle, the echoing footsteps of courtiers and the clatter of armor faded into the background. Raphael's mind was racing, a paternal instinct surging within him, mingling with the unease that prickled under his skin. He needed to act fast—time was of the essence.

Finding the Royal Advisor in a grand chamber adorned with golden tapestries of past victories, Raphael wasted no time. "I need a horse. I'm leaving for Vianden immediately," he declared, urgency threading through his voice.

The Royal Advisor, a dignified man with piercing eyes, regarded him with both respect and caution. "Then you will need Blaze," he replied reluctantly, gesturing toward the castle's stables. "Though he's fast, his mood can change in an instant. You must earn his trust."

Hesitation flickered across Raphael's face, but he nodded resolutely. He had heard tales of Blaze, the magnificent stallion known for his fiery spirit and compelling presence. If anyone could outrun danger, it was Blaze—but earning the creature's trust was a different battle altogether.

Following the Advisor's directions, Raphael made his way to the stables. There, amid the musk of hay and the sound of hooves clattering against wood, stood Blaze, a sleek stallion with a coat as dark as midnight and a gaze that sparkled with unshed energy. The stallion pawed the ground anxiously, as if sensing the turmoil that cloaked the castle like a storm cloud, and Raphael felt the urgency swell in his chest.

"Calm, boy," he murmured, approaching the majestic beast with slow and deliberate movements. Tall and muscular, Raphael instinctively leaned into a posture of confidence, but beneath it, his heart raced. He reached for Blaze's reins, determination written across his features.

The stallion huffed, nostrils flaring, and Raphael halted, cautiously offering a hand instead. "I'm not here to hurt you," he whispered, his voice low and steady. "We have to go. You can trust me."

Blaze's eyes studied him, curiosity battling with instinctive wariness. Raphael leaned closer, whispering soothing words while stroking the stallion's strong neck. The tension coiling in Blaze's muscles slowly began to dissipate, the trust building between them like a bridge over a raging river. Raphael felt a flicker of hope as the stallion's posture relaxed under his touch.
