After touring the entire mansion, Ethan told Lyra to follow him, saying she needed to freshen up. Lyra didn't understand the meaning of the words, but she followed him quietly, curious about what was to come.

They arrived at an opulent bathroom, larger and wider than any room Lyra had ever seen. The light, glasses, and bathtub were exquisite, and Lyra's eyes widened in awe.

As they stepped into the bathroom, Lyra caught sight of herself in the mirror and exclaimed, thinking she saw a ghost. Ethan smiled and told her to be careful, explaining that the mirror simply reflected what she looked like. Lyra didn't understand his grammar, and Ethan realized he needed to use simpler English with her.

Ethan handed Lyra an electronic toothbrush, but when he turned it on, she got scared and dropped it on the floor. Ethan chuckled and gave her a plastic brush instead, telling her it was safer and easier to use. Lyra felt more at ease with the plastic brush and began to brush her teeth, fascinated by the strange new tool.

Ethan stood in front of the mirror, toothbrush in hand, and began to demonstrate the proper technique for brushing teeth. He showed Lyra how to squeeze a small amount of toothpaste onto the brush, how to brush in circular motions, and how to make sure to get all surfaces of the teeth. Lyra watched with rapt attention, her eyes fixed on Ethan's reflection in the mirror.

As Ethan brushed his teeth, he explained the importance of cleaning teeth in a way that Lyra could understand.

"We brush our teeth to remove the bad things that can hurt our teeth and mouth,"

He said.

"It helps us have a healthy smile and feel good about ourselves."

Lyra listened intently, her eyes sparkling with curiosity. She had never heard of such a thing before, but she was eager to learn. She imitated Ethan's movements, brushing her own teeth with a tentative hand. Ethan smiled and encouraged her, helping her adjust her technique as needed.

As they brushed their teeth together, Ethan pointed out different parts of the mouth, explaining what each one did.

"These are our incisors,"

He said, pointing to the front teeth.

"They help us bite into food. And these are our molars,"

He added, pointing to the back teeth.

"They help us chew our food."

Lyra was fascinated by the different shapes and functions of the teeth. She had never thought about how complex the mouth was before, and she was grateful to Ethan for teaching her. As they finished brushing their teeth, Lyra smiled at her reflection in the mirror, feeling proud of herself for learning something new.

Lyra then shared that in her village, they used sticks to clean their mouths, but Ethan reassured her that it was all fine now. He showed her how to rinse her mouth and spit out the water, and Lyra giggled at the strange sensation.

As they finished up, Ethan smiled at Lyra's newfound skills and told her she was doing great. Lyra beamed with pride, feeling more confident in her new surroundings. She was grateful for Ethan's patience and kindness, and she knew she could trust him to help her navigate this strange new world.

With her teeth clean and her face washed, Lyra felt refreshed and revitalized. She looked at Ethan with a smile, and he smiled back, happy to see her so happy.

Ethan handed Lyra a soft towel, explaining that she needed to take a bath. He felt a bit embarrassed, unsure of how to teach her something so personal.
