Ethan's phone rang again, breaking the peaceful moment he shared with Lyra. He apologized and answered the call, his expression turning serious as he listened to the voice on the other end.

Lyra watched him with curiosity, sensing a change in his demeanor. Ethan's eyes flickered towards her, and he forced a smile, trying to reassure her.

"Okay, Dad. I'll be right there,"

Ethan said, his tone firm but resigned. He ended the call and turned to Lyra, his expression softening.

"Hey, I have to go out for a bit. My dad needs me at the company,"

Ethan explained, his eyes apologetic. Lyra's face fell, her eyes clouding with disappointment.

Ethan quickly added,

"But don't worry, I'll make it up to you tomorrow. I promise to take you out and show you some amazing food. You'll love it!"

He smiled, trying to lift her spirits.

Lyra's face brightened slightly, but she still looked uncertain.

"Where are you going now?" she asked, her voice hesitant. Ethan hesitated, unsure how much to reveal.

"I have some business to attend to,"

He said vaguely, not wanting to worry her.

"But don't worry, my sister will come and stay with you until I get back. You'll be safe and sound."

Ethan quickly called his sister, arranging for her to come over and keep Lyra company. As they waited for his sister to arrive, Ethan tried to reassure Lyra that everything would be okay, but he could sense her unease. He knew he had never cared for someone like Lyra before, and the feeling was both exhilarating and terrifying.

Luna arrived at the doorstep with a bunch of shopping bags, a bright smile on her face.

"I couldn't come empty-handed, so I brought some goodies!"

She exclaimed, setting the bags down on the floor.

Ethan chuckled and shook his head,

"You always think of everything, sis."

He turned to Lyra,

"I have to go now, but my sister will take good care of you. Luna, use simple English, okay?"

Luna nodded and waved goodbye as Ethan left. She turned to Lyra and said,

"Hey, let's have some fun! I brought snacks, movies, and games. We'll have a blast!"

Lyra's eyes lit up, and she eagerly dug into the snacks Luna had brought. They spent the next few hours laughing, watching comedies, and playing games. Lyra even tried to take selfies with Luna, giggling at her own silly faces.

But as the night wore on, Luna noticed a red stain on Lyra's cloth. Her eyes widened in understanding, and she quickly realized that Lyra had started her period.

Lyra, however, was oblivious to what was happening. She looked down at the stain and panicked, thinking she was hurt. "Oh no, I'm dying!"

She cried out, her eyes welling up with tears.

Luna rushed to calm her down,

"Lyra, it's okay! This is a natural thing. You're not hurt, I promise!"

But Lyra was beyond consolation, her fear and confusion taking over.

Luna's voice was soft and soothing as she tried to explain the concept of menstruation to Lyra. She used simple words and gestures, hoping to calm Lyra's fears.
