Newt POV:
(Like every other thing)

Newt sighed as he sat down, the bell sounded for the first time. Meaning that the other students had 5 minutes to enter the classroom before the second bell went.

The blonde put his shoulder bag on his lap and unbuckled the front. He flipped it open and gathered all his stuff, sorting it neatly on his part of the desk.

Soon enough. Paintbrushes, pencils, erasers, papers, pens and canvases were scattered in front of the Brit. Who looked at the table with a content smile plastered on his face.

The second bell went.

All the students were seated by now, having their very own stuff in front of them. Just like Newt.

The door of the classroom opened and another guy quickly ran to his desk. He saw that it was Aris, the kid that was literally late to every class he took.

Aris was quite impressive at art, since the boy spent more time observing than talking.

Newt mentally scoffed at him.

The teacher then gained everyone's attention by scraping her throat, ready to give instructions on what ever thing they had to do for the following hour.

Painting nature with watered down acrylics. Oh damn how he loved that.

But, this time they needed to add their own twist of the fantasy world within their works.

Even more fun.

Newt immediately got to drawing. Grabbing his grey B7 pencil, you see, Newt had a lot of pencils. From A9 to B9, but B7/B6 pencils were always his favourites.

These pencils blended well with the canvasses, leaving smooth grey streaks all over them along the lines. It gave the sketch a softer look, the Brit loved soft.

After 20 minutes of working out a detailed sketch on an A3 canvas, he finished the sharper lining with a HB pencil. HB pencils were the most classic ones, not too hard and un-pigmented but also not too soft and smudgy. Newt felt that lining out final things with these pencils was a perfect match, which in his eyes was a bloody fact.

He then started off with the base of the colours. Coating the canvas with all shades of red for the grass, oranges for the skies, black for the sun and clouds, some turquoise for the barks of trees, green and yellows for flowers and grey for the main focus. The walls.

You might think, is Newt colour blind? No, he wasn't. Not at all. He might be a bit dyslexic but definitely not colour blind.

This was his strategy.

Using the opposite colours and shades for the base is actually a smart idea. Since the colours reflect off of each other with light, the opposite colours that are coated underneath the upper layer. Makes the original colour pop out more, making shades more vibrant and powerful than they already are.

Okay enough art nerding around.

Newt finally finished the class after another 45 minutes. Being half way done with his work.

He waved the teacher goodbye and left the room along with the other students.

The Brit grabbed his schedule from his leather shoulder bag and checked the time for the next class.

PE: 1 pm.

It read.

Great, a few hours to spend until the next good class of the day. Newt sighed, walking down the hall. Quickly finding his locker and grabbed his keys from his pocket.
