{Episode 9} Alive?

Liam woke up starving, she scanned the place to find herself in a familiar location. Maya entered the room and noticed Liam was awake. Maya smiled and ran to her, putting the tray of food on Liam's lap. She took off the breathing mask, heart monitor, and the IV syringe. She picked the tray back up, Liam sat up and then she gave it to her. "Thank you, Maya!" Said Liam gratefully devouring the food. Maya turned around to pick up the now fully charged hearing aids and put them on Liam. Maya sat down and stared at Liam with a serious face. Liam finished eating and noticed Maya, she asked "Is my face dirty??" Maya shook her head and asked "Why did you do that? Other than wanting to save them, why.." Liam realized and responded "I wanted to save them! They deserved to be free!" Maya's eyes filled with tears as she continued "..You knew, it was a suicidal mission...I know you LIAM. You're smart, so why waste your life??" Liam started tearing up "She's dead, because..of_me, I should have brought her here and you would have healed her but I didn't..and I don't have a reason to live anymore! AND if I do then I SHOULD AT LEAST DIE HELPING PEOPLE!" Said Liam frenzied. Maya started crying, she held Liam's hands and responded firmly "NO..,NO LIAM it isn't your fault. This hospital is very far away, you can't walk all the way here with a weak woman and you can't control whether people die or live. She was really sick and you know she was. You can't control things that happen naturally, because they just happen. Don't let that take your will to live. Do you remember how she always told us the stars would guide us? It's because they do, you're here with me now for a reason..Liam I am 4 years older than you, I have more experience in life than you. To tell you that you are too young to die. You are too young to lose your will to live.." Liam embraced Maya crying, and Maya embraced her back. "Thank you, Maya," said Liam sobbing "Your welcome!" Responded Maya with a smile. They stopped hugging and Maya said, "They visited you that day, all of them..they felt guilty but I talked to them and healed them!!" Liam said "Awwwwww, wait what do you mean that day??..How long have I been asleep??""Uhhh about 3 days" responded Maya with a smile. Liam turned red out of embarrassment as she said "3 days?!" Maya told her "Which means now that you woke up you gotta go home." Liam stood up and said "Aww man, I guess I doo" She looked down at her suit and found it sewn in random areas, and she laughed. Maya gave her the mask and said "Don't tell Stella about it..or she'll blind meee" Liam put her mask on and giggled "I won't!" Maya put Liam's hair in a bun and asked "Are you still working with her?" Liam responded with a smile "Yup! The one and only!" "Hmm" responded Maya, when she finished she said "There you go, text me when you get home. And send her my regards!!" "I willll!" Said Liam excited, "oh and! DON'T EVER NEGLECT YOUR NEEDS AND YOURSELF AGAIN. AND EAT MORE." Said Maya threatening Liam. Liam was so terrified by Maya that she froze feeling like her soul left her body for a second and she spoke rapidly "Iuhhhy-yesMayaIwilleatmoreIpromiseee" Maya chuckled at Liam's reaction and hugged her, "Bye Liam have an amazing day" said Maya lovingly. Liam hugged her back and said "You too Maya! Bye bye! Oh, wait, What about them? Are they safe now?" Maya nodded and responded "Yup they are! They're all home safe and sound, without the government knowing." Shadow smiled while saying "That's what I wanted to hear!" and walked out. She went home using the tight dark alleys, and when she arrived she opened the door to find the house a mess. The memories flooded back in, she tried not to cry and walked in locking the door. She texted Maya, then she took off her mask and took it to her room where she hid it in her closet, she took off the suit and set her hearing aids on top of her little night table. She went to her bathroom and showered, when she finished she got out put her hearing aids on, and changed. She was energized and looked at the extremely messy house she thought to herself "Alright! It's time to clean up this mess!" Liam started with her room then her bathroom, then she went to the living room to clean it up. After her living room was her kitchen and dining room, next was the guest bathroom. After the bathroom was the big storage closet and last was her mother's room and bathroom. At first, she was hesitant but she decided to clean it too, when she saw the note crumbled up on the floor her memories became a tsunami drowning her with guilt and sadness. She continued cleaning no matter how many tears she shed. When she finished, she stopped at the sight of a framed picture of her with her mom and the others. Her heart felt warm feeling after seeing everyone together and thought "We were all so happy! Mom, Me, Maya, Alexy, Maddie, Mason, Jake, Marco, Stella, Misty, Bitta, Owen, Ethan, and David! I..wish we could've had more time..all of us together" She wiped her tears and checked the time, it was 9:46. She put her phone to charge and went to the bathroom to brush her teeth. When she finished she set her clock to wake her up at 6:35 A.M., she turned off her light, put her hearing aids on her table, and went to sleep. Morning came and she woke up, put her hearing aids on, got ready for school, and left her house. She walked to school and entered the huge building, she knew exactly where her class was! When she entered her class, she felt anger and disappointment coming from the popular people specifically the girls but she ignored it. "OMG LIIIIAMM!!" exclaimed Rina with teary eyes. Everyone in the class faced Liam, Rina ran to Liam hugging her while Aiden followed her, "I was soooo worried you may have taken your own life.." said Rina crying. Aiden signed "Are you ok??" Liam nodded with a big smile and hugged Rina, she said "Awww, you guys! I'm ok now!..The thing is that my..mother died and I went to visit family." Rina looked at Liam and said, "I'm so sorry for your loss." Liam said "It's ok! After all, that's a normal part _of life" with her voice breaking. Aiden noticed and signed "I am sorry for your loss, I hope you feel better!" Liam smiled feeling their support "It's ok now!" Said Liam trying to convince herself too. Rina, Aiden, and Liam sat down and Mrs.Anjra walked in, she froze seeing Liam and frowned at her. Mrs.Anjra called her up "Liam why were you out for so many days??" She asked in an angry tone. Liam responded feeling the weight of her words "My mother..passed away and I went to visit family." "I-I'm sorry for your loss but you should have told us," Responded Mrs.Anjra calming down. Liam nodded and went back to sit down. The day passed by, and when school was over she exchanged phone numbers with her friends and said goodbye. Then she walked to the Curadores hospital to visit Maya. She stopped at a grocery shop to buy Maya's favorite chocolate, to find that it was the only chocolate available. She bought it and continued walking, when she was near the hospital she noticed something and gasped at the sight of a wounded man. She ran to him and pressured his wounds when suddenly she got knocked out. Behind her stood a super tall muscular tan woman with flowing magma hair and her eyes glowing red. She wore black circle earrings and two tiny piercings on top of that one, her ears were outlined by tiny black piercings. She wore black heels and a dress that outlined her nearly hourglass body, the top was black until her waist and the bottom was dark red. On the side of her hips, the dress had slits. On her face, she had a big mole on the right side of her bottom lip.
