When Demetri got back into his room, he found Logan curled up asleep on the bed. He smiled at her before placing the clothes he borrowed from Chelsea on the dresser. He walked over and examined her face for a moment before brushing a strand of stray hair behind her ear. Logan stirred a bit, but didn't awaken. Because he promised not to watch her sleep, Demetri went and grabbed a book from the shelf and sat on the couch in the room and read for the rest of the night while listening to Logan's soft breathing.

Logan was waking up when she turned and opened her eyes, she saw a note on the pillow next to her next to a rose.
Cara mia, I had to get to my duties this morning and didn't want to wake you since you were sleeping so peacefully. There are some clothes on the dresser for you that I borrowed from Chelsea. Remember to find Giana or a member of the guard if you need anything. Enjoy your day and I'll find you later. Demetri
She read the note and sniffed the rose with a small smile. Logan got out of bed and set the note and the rose down on the nightstand. She got ready, using the jeans that Demetri borrowed from Chelsea, but not the shirt, it was much too girly and frilly for her. Instead Logan just kept wearing the plain black shirt Demetri gave her and knotted it to be more form fitting.

She grabbed the glass from the bathroom and filled it with water before setting it in the windowsill and putting the rose in it. Logan then decided to grab her backpack and get something to eat for breakfast before heading to the castle library to work on some of her schoolwork.
Logan was walking around the hallways of the castle, lost again. "This place is a freaking maze." Logan says to herself.
"Trying to make the great escape?" Afton asks, appearing out of nowhere.
"Afton. No, trying to find the kitchen and then the library, actually. If I wanted to escape, I'd already be gone."
"Need some help?"
"That'd be great. This place is a freaking maze."
Afton chuckles as he starts to walk, Logan walks beside him. "You get used to it after a while."
"Yeah. I figured. So is your gift invisibility?"
"It is. I can make myself physically invisible. Anyone standing behind me could potentially be invisible, too, but it isn't a guarantee."
"So it's a physical ability?"
"It is."
"How long have you been a part of the Volturi?"
"I joined with Chelsea about 2500 years ago."
"Is Chelsea your mate?"
"She is."
"What's she like?"
Afton instantly smiled. "She is beautiful, kind, and sweet. She loves to spend time with the guard when not working, especially the girls. She loves shopping quite a lot and is quite the girly girl."
