Demetri and Logan were walking through the streets of Florence. Demetri was trying to convince Logan to dress like the rest of the Volturi, meaning basically wearing dresses and formal wear most of the time, and Logan was having none of it.

"No." Logan tells Demetri for what feels like the millionth time.

"Cara mia, it's how we dress in the castle." Demetri says

"I don't care. I'm not a part of the Volturi, and I don't like dresses. I'm not going to wear them. And I am certainly not only going to wear black and dark red. I may like the colors, but that is not all I wear."

"Please, cara mia."

"No way."

"Please. Just one dress, cara mia." Demetri says as he stops her and gets her to look at him. "Please...for me."

Logan sighs. "Fine." She groans out. Demetri smiles, and Logan quickly adds stipulations, "I will only get one, no promises it will be dark red or black, and I will not be wearing it all the time. If I like it, maybe I'll wear it once every other week, MAYBE."

"Then I better try my best to find one you like in dark red or black." Demetri says with a smile.

🔥🔥🔥

Logan and Demetri were at the final store they would be going to. Logan had gotten band t-shirts, jeans, shorts, t-shirts, and a few blouses (at Demetri's insistence). Much to Logan's surprise, Demetri did manage to find two dresses that Logan actually liked at the store they were currently at. She liked the way she looked in them. Demetri thought she looked beautiful in them, and as an added bonus, one is red, and one is black.

When they were checking out, Demetri quickly paid before Logan could. Logan gave Demetri a look.

"Really?" Logan asks as they walk out of the store.

"I already told you, cara mia, it's all on me." Demetri says

"But they're my clothes, Dem. I have money and can buy my own clothes."

"I know you can, but you don't have to. You're my mate, cara mia. Let me provide for you. I want to."

Logan sighed. "I am never going shopping with you again."

Demetri laughs. "Never say never. Just accept the clothes, Logan, and let me take care of you. I love doing it." He says as he wraps his arm around her waist.

Logan looked at Demetri for a moment before relenting. "Okay." She says before kissing his cheek. "Thank you for all the clothes, Dem."

"You're welcome, cara mia. Now, we must be getting back to the castle."

Logan groaned. "Do we have to?"

Demetri chuckles. "As much as I would love to spend all my time with you, I need to be on duty in a couple hours, and you need to speak with the kings."

"Again, I repeat. Do we have to? Can't we just run away or something?"

"No, cara mia. We can't." Demetri says amused.

Logan sighed. "How long do you think I can avoid the conversation with them?"

"A couple hours if you're lucky." Demetri says, and Logan groans again. "If it makes you feel better, I can be with you when you talk to the kings."

"I don't want to be a bother."

"You could never be a bother, cara mia."

"Are you sure you'll be able to be there?"

"If you want me with you, I will be." He says before asking, "Do you want me there with you?"

"If you're able to be, I would."
