I can barely contain my excitement as the hours pass, Sethos' latest message making my heart burst with warmth.

After that, the remnants of my fever seem to vanish in an instant. I feel lighter, like a weight is lifted off my chest. Cyno and Tighnari are quick to notice, exchanging knowing glances with subtle smiles. They don't need to say anything, they understand exactly what is going on in my head.

"You're practically glowing," Cyno teases as he lounges on the couch, arms crossed behind his head. "Guess it wasn't just the soup and strawberries after all, huh?"

I roll my eyes, but can't stop the grin from spreading across my face. "Shut up," I mutter, not really meaning it. There was no point in pretending. Sethos' message completely flips my mood.

"Well, whatever it is, I'm glad," Tighnari says softly, sitting next to me. "You've been through a lot these past few days. You deserve to be happy."

His gentle words make my heart swell even more. I glance at the clock, counting down the minutes until Sethos would land. Even though I hadn't fully recovered, the anticipation of seeing him again seems to fuel me with new energy.

"When's he supposed to land?" Cyno asks casually, but I can see the hint of amusement in his eyes, like he already knew I had the exact time memorized.

"Five hours," I respond immediately, my voice a little too eager. I quickly add, "But you know, it could take longer with delays and stuff."

"Sure, delays," Cyno says with a smirk. "You're going to be staring at the clock until he shows up, aren't you?"

"Maybe," I mutter, feeling my cheeks heat up. "I'm just... excited to see him."

"Excited is putting it lightly," Tighnari says with a chuckle. "But honestly, it's good to see you like this after everything. I don't think I've seen you smile this much since before the fever hit."

I sigh, leaning back against the couch. "I know. It feels like forever since things were normal. I'm just ready to put this week behind me and have something good happen."

"Well, you're almost there," Cyno says, sitting up. "And knowing Sethos, he'll probably have some ridiculous surprise planned for when he shows up. You know how he is."

I can't help but laugh, nodding in agreement. "Yeah, he's always doing stuff like that. It's one of the reasons I-" I stop, realizing what I was about to say.

Cyno raises an eyebrow. "One of the reasons you what?"

I clear my throat, suddenly feeling shy. "One of the reasons I'm... friends with him," I say quietly, my voice barely above a whisper.

Tighnari gives me a knowing smile, his eyes soft with understanding. "You don't have to hold back with us. We've known how you feel for a while now."

"Yeah," Cyno adds, grinning. "You're not exactly subtle when it comes to Sethos."

I groan, burying my face in my hands. "I'm that obvious, am I?"

"Oh, you are," Cyno says, laughing. "But hey, it's kind of cute."

"Stop teasing her," Tighnari says, though there was amusement in his voice as well. "She's been through enough this week."

"Fine, fine," Cyno says, holding up his hands in mock surrender. "I'll lay off. For now."
