Paxton decided to get up from his bed and start speed-walking down the hallway, searching for Isolde. He muttered to himself, "Why am I helping her again?" But he kept walking, driven by a sense of duty. "I don't care for her," he thought, yet his feet carried him forward.

As he walked, Paxton's senses kicked in, and he started sniffing the air, trying to pick up Isolde's scent. He navigated the school's corridors, his senses on high alert.

Meanwhile, Isolde woke up to find herself tied up and confused. She looked down and saw another girl on the floor, bite marks on her neck. Isolde let out a blood-curdling scream, but a mysterious man slapped her, ordering, "Be quiet, girl. It'll be over quickly."

Isolde glared at the man, demanding, "What are you going to do to me?" The man chuckled, his eyes gleaming with malevolence. "Wow, you must be new to this," he sneered, his laughter sending chills down Isolde's spine.

Isolde said, "I'm new to this school... and why are there bite marks on her neck?" The mysterious man gently grasped her chin, his eyes gleaming with a sinister intensity. "You're so innocent," he whispered, his breath cold against her skin. "I sucked her blood, of course."

Isolde's eyes widened in horror. "You're... a vampire?!" she stammered. The man chuckled, his fangs glinting in the dim light. "Wow, you're so naive. Yes, I am. See my teeth?" He bared his fangs, and Isolde's eyes grew wide with fear.

The man leaned in, his mouth inches from Isolde's neck. "This will be quick, I promise." Isolde closed her eyes, paralyzed with fear. Just as the man was about to sink his teeth into her skin, a door burst open, and Paxton stormed in. The mysterious man's eyes flicked towards Paxton, and he sneered, "Well, well, well... what do we have here? It's Paxton. I'm amazed."

Paxton's eyes scanned the room, and his gaze landed on Isolde, tied up and helpless on the floor. Her eyes were closed, and her face was pale. Paxton's fury ignited, and he turned to the mysterious man, his voice low and menacing. "What did you do to her?"

The man smirked, his smile twisted and cruel. "I haven't done anything... yet." Paxton's eyes blazed red with anger, and he charged towards the man, pushing him against the wall with supernatural strength. The man crashed into the wall, stunned.

Paxton scooped up Isolde, cradling her in his arms. The mysterious man struggled to his feet, his eyes wide with fear. "What are you doing, Paxton? You don't want to devour her, do you?" Paxton's response was icy cold. "You hurt someone very dear to me."

With a fierce cry, Paxton kicked the mysterious man with incredible force, decapitating him. The man's head rolled across the floor, his eyes frozen in shock. Paxton turned to the girl on the floor, his expression softening. "Wow, you must have suffered a lot." He gently lifted her head, his touch tender.

Paxton used his powers to try and revive the girl, but she was already gone. His eyes saddened, and he looked away, only to be met with Isolde's gaze as she woke up. "Paxton?" she whispered, throwing her arms around him in a tight hug. "Thank you!"

Paxton didn't respond, his expression stern. He set Isolde down and demanded, "What did you see?" Isolde's eyes widened as she recounted her experience. "I saw that man was a vampire! I saw his teeth; it was so cool! His eyes were so red!"

Paxton's patience wore thin. He grabbed Isolde by the neck, his grip firm. "Are you dumb? That man couldn't kill you, Isolde!" Isolde's eyes locked onto Paxton's, and she asked, "Why are your eyes red, Paxton?"

Paxton's gaze faltered, and he quickly released Isolde. He snatched a nearby bat and struck her with it, knocking her unconscious. As she lay there, Paxton used his powers to erase her memories of the encounter. He lifted her back up, his voice low and urgent. "You don't need to become like me, Isolde. Please
