"What do you mean you can't get me today? I thought you said you were free. Everyone's already left, it's not like I can just get a ride with someone." Your mom had canceled on getting you at the last second. She'd already promised to get you so you hadn't thought to get a backup ride.

"Listen Y/N. You're old enough to walk home by yourself. You know the neighborhood and it's at most a 30 minute walk. Just suck it up. I don't have time to argue with you right now." Your mom stated cooly. She always got like this when she was stressed, closed off and snappy.

Normally you would've just hung up there, but tonight something felt off. You knew you shouldn't walk home alone, that something bad would happen. Especially with your broken arm, you couldn't exactly defend yourself very well.

"Mom, I really can't! Something-!"

"I'm hanging up. Bye Y/N, text me when you get home." With that the line went dead. Your hands shook as you put your phone in your bag, beginning the walk home. Every passing car was a threat. Every stranger walking down the sidewalk was an enemy.

There was one block in particular you dreaded walking down. It was lit by streetlights, but it was silent. There was no one around, no storefronts to duck into if something happened. So you took a deep breath, held your bag close, and ran for it. You were nearing the end of the street and had just made it to the corner when you were grabbed from the side.

You could barely react before a needle was jammed into the side of your neck. It burned but you couldn't struggle without possibly snapping off the needle inside of you or further injuring your arm.

You were forced to succumb to chemically induced unconsciousness in your attacker's arms.

Your senses came back to you slowly. You still couldn't move or see, but you could hear. At first it was just muffled talking, enough to convince yourself you'd fallen asleep watching a video or tv show or something. It wasn't until you listened to the words that you realized something was wrong.

"You have to be very careful with what restraints you decide to use. It should never be anything a child could injure themselves with. I recommend soft but strong bonds of fabric. That way they'll be harder to break through but your child will be unable to injure themselves trying to escape." Someone walked closer to you. You could hear them directly behind you but you still were unable to move. You heard the whir of a camera lens zooming in.

"As you can see, my child got into an accident before their adoption so I had to be extra careful when restraining them. For most looking to adopt, I would recommend holding off in this circumstance and waiting for your child to heal first. However, I have past medical training and can help look after their injury." The person moved closer to your head, and there was another whirr from a camera lens.

"Now, I chose to use a blindfold because my sweetheart needed some sleep and I couldn't have them waking up while I got them settled. Blindfolds, however are completely optional and that is your decision to make as a parent. I'm not going to show their face on here for privacy reasons but trust me when I say they look so adorable with it on." You twitched as you felt someone touch your head. That voice sounded so robotic and fake, likely someone with a voice changer of some sort.

"But that will be all for today! My baby is finally beginning to wake up and we should have some private bonding time. I'll probably post later this week trying out some new toys to keep them occupied while I do my day job. Later, guys!" There was a click as you assumed whatever camera your captor had shut off.

"Are you awake yet? Maybe that was a little bit too much knockout juice..." The voice murmured, slowly slipping from automated to familiar. That voice... it belonged to your regular customer. She had kidnapped you?

You tried to move, harder this time, but you could barely twitch your muscles. There was no way you would be up and moving soon. Beside you, your regular, or you guess you should call her your captor now, giggled.

"You're alright honey. Soon enough, we'll get you all nice and adjusted to your new home where you don't have to worry about anything! I'll stream during the day and all you have to do is be good. Every once and a while you can join me during one of my private streams, just for people who want to forcefully adopt, like I did. All you have to do now is rest and learn to love it here."
