Just as he's about to close the door, my feet come to a sudden stop, and I spin around to lock eyes with him. "Maybe— I'll text you," he says with a mischievous smile.
"And — maybe you'll get a response."

When I open my laptop, the screen flickers to life, and I feel the familiar keys under my fingertips as I browse through my assignments. I use a highlighter to mark important sections in my book and jot down notes on a Post-it with my blue pen, placing them next to the relevant text.
As I eagerly flip through the pages, my anticipation mounts. I reach for the tall glass, filling it to the brim with cool, refreshing water. With the glass by my side, my eyes dart across the words, and my fingers dance across the keys as I quickly type the final words on my laptop. With a deep sigh of contentment, I hit the submit button and powered down my computer. As I take a well-deserved sip from the brimming glass, I'm overcome by a profound sense of fulfilment.

7:00 PMI undressed and enveloped myself in a freshly washed towel. Grabbing the soft pink fabric. I headed into the shower, eager to unwind and recharge. I just need to relax, everything is fine. Post-shower, my feet slipped into cosy slippers as I switched into my gym attire. I secured my hair in a tight bun and set off for the Campus Gym.

7:25 PMI pulled my legs in a half-split, stretching, as my arms moved. After my stretch exercise finished. My workout began. My body hung upside down in gravity boots in the HHC, doing my sit-ups. I curled my body up parallel to the floor and eased it back vertically without any apparent effort. My feet stood up, as they moved to the machinery. After my workout, I exit the gym, and something catches my eye.

7:45 PMTrack Tryouts on August 16th! Should I even join? My classes might be too much. As my mind contemplated reasons I shouldn't join, my heart chose to ignore it. My fingers pulled the pen, as my name was jotted down for today at 8:10 PM. "Annika?"
What? I revert my gaze to the voice and am met by a pretty dark skin girl, with two braids. She returns my gaze with a smile. "I'm Sara. I've heard so much about you. So nice to meet you."
