Ch 24: 72 Transformations

(It was such a hassle to write a whole chapter of Madison telling people that Macaque was indebted to her so I'm just gonna say that the gang already knows about Macaque and Madison's situation)

Madison's POV...

My phone rings as I slowly gain consciousness again and grab it, "Hello?" I asked, "Maddie! Come quick! There's something I need to show you! And bring Macaque!" MK yelled through the phone before hanging up, "Ugh, it's 3 AM! Why is he up so early!?" I question to myself before getting out of bed, I grab my robe, "Yo, Mel. What's happening?" Macaque said as he came out the shadows, "MK wants me to head to the shop for something." I said, heading to the coffee maker, "What could the kid want at this hour?" Macaque mumbles and I shrug.

"I have no clue. But he better make it quick." I said, yawing again, "Want some coffee?" I asked and he nodded, "I like mine to be black." He said, leaning on the kitchen counter as I make the coffee, "So early. And the one time I can actually sleep. Dang it, MK." I mumble to myself as I make the coffee, once it finishes. I hand a mug full of black coffee to Maacque and a mug of coffee with milk in mine. "Ready to go?" I asked him, sipping my coffee, "Yeah." Macaque said, summoning a shadow portal as we walk through it.

We arrive at the top of the building, "MK called you guys too?" I ask Mei once I see her, "Yeah..." Mei said, answering tiredly, looks like no one noticed Macaque yet, probably because they were all super tired, "*Yawns* Okay, kid, you've got us here at 3:00 a.m.!" Pigsy checks his watch, "Ugh, what's so important it couldn't wait till morning?" He asked, "Oh, my dear Pigsy, sweet, sweet, friend. I'm so glad you asked. I have gathered you here because I have unlocked my next mystic monkey power!" MK announces, "Oh! What it it? What it it? What is it?" Mei asked, "Teleportation? Cloud Walking? Is it flying?" Tang asked.

"No! It's better than any of that! I have begun to learn...Monkey King's 72 Transformations." I stare at MK, intrigued by this, and of course Tang was enthusiastic by this, "The ancient art that has eluded even the wisest masters for centuries? The ability to transform into nearly anything!? To because an eagle, a tiger, a gorilla! The power of a god is in your grasp, MK! Show me the power!" Tang asked as MK laughs, "Well, maybe my friend here can show you himself." Next thing you know, MK pulls out his hand—except it was dog instead. Causing Sandy to puke.

"Hey, little puppy! Ah! MK, you were right. This is the best power!" Mei said as the dog bites her cheek, but she doesn't seem to care about that, "Less of a power, more of a "medical emergency". Pigsy said and I nod, drinking more of my coffee, "We're definitely gonna have to work on that, kid." Macaque said, "MK, what are you hiding?" I ask noticing his other hand was hidden. "Nothing!" He said while the dog licked his face, "MK. What are you-" Pigsy said before MK stoppped him, "Okay, fine. But just remember like 70% of my job is cleaning."

Before I could say anything, MK showed his other hand which was revealed to be a mop, Pigsy, Tang and Sandy all threw up while I dump my coffee on the floor. I just lost my appetite, "Okay, yes so there's some kinks but guys isn't this amazing? Plus turns out the mop is super handy for cleaning up after this guy. Handy, super handy, this is good, this is a good day." MK said, "You might need to do a bit more of training." Tang said, "Training to make more puppy hands!" Mei shouted, "This is gonna be a lot of work." Macaque mumbles.

I saw MK's dog looking at Pigsy's sign, "Uh! Spiders! Come on, when will the season of spiders be over?" I hear MK fall to the ground, "Should we go after him?" I turn to everyone even Macaque asleep, "I hate being part of the duo sometimes. Curse you creator!" I yell before hoping down to find MK. I find him turning small and heading into a sewer hole where I follow him too.

I notice small MK on a pipe, wait, I'm normal sized? I quickly realized this and quickly transformed myself small like MK, "MK? What are you doing?" I ask him, "Some spider robots stole Pigsy's sign!" He explained, pointing to the sign on the floor, "Oh come on! Why is this season full of spiders!?" "That's what I said!" He said before we walked on the pipe, trying to get the sign back but Spider Queen walks out, "Spider Queen." We both say.
