Ch 7: Coming Home

Madison's POV....

In front of Pigsy's Shop~~~

I'm here with Mei, MK and Sandy watching the two play Monkey Mech and so far MK is losing, no surprise there, "Button mash all you want, MK. You'll never beat my ancient galloping fury power!!" "Up smash, up smash!" Sandy tells MK, "I'm trying, Sandy! Okay! I'm trying, I'm trying!" Mei is totally beating his ass! I'm recording this because why not? Mei does her evil laugh, "No one can defeat me!" Her phone starts to ring and she takes it out, "Oh, boy. Uh, hi Mom." She walks away and I play for her, "Hey!" "What? It's totally fair to do teams when one has a phone call to answer." I totally beat MK! Sandy walks over to Mei, "Mei. You okay there, Mei?" "Yeah. Yeah. Ha! It's just..." "I want a rematch! This is so unfair!" Again. Beat MK's butt. I wink at Mei, "My parents...They want me to housesit." I walk up to them.

"And that's a bad thing why?" "No! Uh...Me and my parents...We're—" MK walks near us, "Uh, did Mei say...sleepover at her house?" When did he get pajamas on? "Wha...No. my parents wouldn't want—" "Sleepover! I've always wanted to see inside Mei's Secret Dragon House, full of secret dragon stuff." Oh god, "Come on! Please. Please, please, please, please?" I pat Mei on the shoulder, "You don't have to give in, you know. I'll hit him on the head for you." I put a fist up and Mei smiles, "Thanks Maddie." She looks back at MK, "Pfft, sleepover it is." She gives in too quickly, "Oh, yeah! This sleepover's gonna be amazing! You know what, I'll bring my Monkey DVDs so we can have marathon!" "What is with you and sleepovers?"

At Mei's Dragon House~~

"Whoa!" We arrive at Mei's house and it is huge! "Ugh! It's even better than I thought. Growing up here must have been great!" Mei looks a little unhappy, "Uh..." She chuckles a little, "Yeah, I guess." I notice the walls and each wall shows a dragon, well this is the Dragon House so it makes sense, "Uh...But I don't know. When I was growing up, I just wanted to be rough and tumble. Break stuff. Look at bugs. You know, have fun. Just like normal girl stuff. But when your house is pretty much a museum and you come from a long line of ancient noble dragons. That's kinda...frowned on."

I kinda do and kinda don't get her story but it seems like she didn't like her childhood a lot, I walk over and give her a hug, and I let go, "Anyway, onwards to the "definitely not gonna be terrible" sleepover!" The guys run to the door and we follow them but the door suddenly has lasers and guns pointed at them, Mei enters a code and the lasers stop, "Overprotective much?" "Ha, yeah my parents are a bit serious about the old security thing." The door opens, "Welcome home, Mei." Oh god why so there a robot? Anyway, we instantly see tons of green dragon stuff and it's so amazing! "This is amazing!" "Whoa! What is all this stuff?" Everything looks so old and ancient, "Uh, you know. Gifts, artifacts, offerings. Yeah it's just stuff that's been in my family for..." "They're gone again." I tell her as the boys starts running around touching everything, they can't just be calm for 3 minutes?

"Guys, wait..." I walk near MK, "If I had all this stuff, I don't even know what I'do!" The green armor was about to fall but I catches it just in time, "Sell it. Probably." He grabs a golden axe and it hit the armor, god. I see Mei with Sandy, "Yeah, this stuff looks really great." He picks up a statue with a green dragon surrounding a gold/white pillar, "Looks like a few good years maybe. Or centuries?" Mei looks like she's gonna break, "Guys, wait. Stop!" Oh shit! She broke, "Hands in pockets, now!" Sandy and MK immediately listened to her, "Wow." I mumble and follow Mei, "Ugh. Follow me. You guys are such menaces! You know that?" "You're friends with dummies Of course we're menaces." She starts to give us a tour of the house, first was the garage it has a lot of cool cars, "This is the garage filled with all the awesome things I'm not allowed to drive." She turns off the light.

"This is one of our many long hallways. We also have the Celestial Jade Garden." We head outside to a relaxing garden, "It's really beautiful." "Thanks." We head to another room for antiques and stuff, "The room with the Thirty Centuries of antiques." We head to a pool next, "Pool of a Thousand Tears." We head to another room, "Tea and Snack room." We go to another room, "And..my bedroom!" Wow, "And this is the dragon claw chamber." This room has nothing but a few pillars with a dragon sword in the middle, "Whoa...Hold up." We all stop walking to look at the sword...I'm admitting it's pretty, "Now this thing is cool! So, what's the deal-io with this deal-y, yo?" Mei and I look so bored right now. "Oh! Uh...That's the sword of my great, great, great times a thousand great grandfather, The Dragon of the West. Legends say that my grandfather imbued it with unimaginable power, so that our clan would always have the strength of the Dragon to protect them. Its true power will only show itself to those deemed worthy. A true member of our clan who's proven themselves strong enough to protect our family from the forces of evil."
