𝐒𝐡𝐨𝐭𝐨 𝐓𝐨𝐝𝐨𝐫𝐨𝐤𝐢"She's here for me" Midoriya exclaimed. My ears rang, she was going out with Midoriya in that dress. Did he hire her as his prostitute? That thought made me furious for a reason I didn't get, "A date?" He slowly nodded. "You aren't going out with him," I stated, not recognizing my voice.
"Excuse me? Why do you think you have a say in who I go out with?" She answered angrily, hot. "I'm your boss, if you go out with him you're fired" I bluffed, I would never fire her. I needed her around me as much as I needed my next breath, I brushed off that thought with an exasperated sigh "Izu leave the room." She said angrily "But-" "Now."
"L/n-" I tried to talk authoritatively. I wouldn't be able to handle it if she ended up dating Midoriya, I just wouldn't not after the night we shared, the month, and the shopping. Mine. I brushed that caveman thought away, What was happening to me? She was one of a kind and I knew it, that's why I'm acting like this. But the promise to myself?
"Don't even say anything. You don't get to be the biggest asshole and then decide who I can go out with, whatever problem you have with me, say it now, or else you won't have to fire me I'll quit and work with Deku where I'll be at least treated with respect. This job isn't worth dealing with you" Her words shot through my chest as she tapped her foot impatiently. I had to tell her everything, explain myself but I couldn't all I could do was watch her leave angrily.
As I sat down and poured myself a glass of whiskey I called someone I never thought I would need advice from. After a couple of rings, he answered.
"What the hell icy-hot! it's eleven. Is there a villain I need to rescue your ass from?" His gruff voice sounded from the phone. "Bakugo.... Are you... good with emotions?" "Hah?! You woke me up for that?! Where's shitty Deku?" "With my sidekick" To that I heard a cackle before he offed the call in my face.
A hit on my desk woke me up "Start talking, this better be interesting" He said too loudly in his skull pyjamas. I explained the whole story to him, from the hiring her as a prostitute to the fight. He listened intently, surprisingly "First of all, your dating rule is bullshit. Remember when Mina swore off guys because of her ex and everyone disagreed with her including you?! You're basically doing the same shit so if you have the crazy chemistry thing with that girl, go for her. Second of all! How could you not tell that shit was set up?! Deku would never go for a girl he thinks you might have the slightest feelings for." My eyes widened "I've never seen you like this over a girl, she's clearly some special extra to you" He said gruffly and annoyed.
He was right. About everything, even though I know it would be difficult to get over the two-year pledge, I'd figure out a way because there was no way I'd let l/n out of my hands again.
