Todoroki dropped me off after our shift and I quickly got ready, I showered, did my makeup, and then wore the most beautiful black dress which was off the shoulder with a slit that ended at my thigh while Mai did my hair. "You know, he asked me how to ask you out and I gave him the best way to propose to you," she said proudly "Was that why you were laughing the other day?" "Yes, why did you think we were laughing?" I smiled nervously "I thought you were flirting" She stared at me before pinching my shoulder "Hey!" I heard a sniffle Oh no did I make her cry?
"I'm sorry did I say something wrong?" She finished curling my last strand before hugging my neck "I'm so proud of you y/n/n, so proud that you left the shitty job and so proud that you're going out with a good guy. If he ever breaks your heart I will fight him, pro-hero or not" I got up and turned around before engulfing her in a genuine hug "Stop, you're gonna make me cry too. Don't worry Mai I'll get so rich that you'll be able to leave your job and live with me" The doorbell rang "I have to go babe, but stay as long as you want" she bobbed her head "By the way did you wear the gift I bought you?" I winked raising the slit of my dress to show it off, she chuckled.

Todoroki took my hand and led me through a pathway, he told me to open my eyes. I stood and admired the place around me we were in a garden, it was nice and simple. "This isn't the place, turn around" I did, there was a door covered with leaf vines and blue flowers. Walking in I was met by a scene that left me breathless.
The trees around it made it dark and closed off but the fairy lights gave off a beautiful ambiance, there was a large blue pond in the middle so blue and clear with lily pads, you could only pass it through the small bridge that was covered in grass and flowers which lead to a round floor with a table and candles under four large archways.
Todoroki bent down next to me gesturing to my heels "May I?" I nodded in a trance. He took my heels off. I soaked in the feeling of the dewy grass under my bare feet "What do you think? I know you like nature a lot and not fancy restaurants so I set this small thing up " "You set it up?" "Yes, is that a problem?" he winced "I asked the fairies for help if that makes it any better, they are gonna be our waitresses" My heart beat in my chest two times faster. He did this all for me? "I wish I could kiss you right now," I said before realizing what I just said, his left side caught on flames. I laughed under my breath, I have a surprise for him when this is all over anyway.
"Come on, show me around" He snapped out of his trance "Of course" I knew I was falling for him but I didn't think I'd already fallen.
