Some ideas in case your characters have a flat relationship and I don't mean romantically.
Crazy friend and logical friend but the logical one always ends up agreeing to whatever idea the crazy one has, whether or not because they're nice or tired or because it makes sense in a twisted way.
Villains who team up and have the power of friendship.
Evil villain and lackey who doesn't get abused for laughs for once.
Eccentric mentor who does the weirdest things so that the student learns a lesson and doesn't think it's weird.
Mean nerd who uses their smarts to throw the wittiest insults onto whoever annoys their shy and sporty best friend.
Nice villain lackey who is just there for work and is really polite to the hero who just can't bring themselves to beat them up too bad at fights.
They hate each other but act in a way that makes other people think that they secretly like each other. Whether or not they do is up to you.
Moody character who hates everyone except this one forgettable person who for some reason is the only one they will open up to.
Evil villain who has a kid figure that wants to be just like them but the villain is trying to make them be the opposite so they don't end up evil too.
Annoying little child and the most irritable person ever. Use that for laughs or something.
