It's October.
Skylar has been disciplined by Mr. Kirchner - Ravenwood's Head of Security - and put on clean up detail. The rich boy pouted and protested but it was either that or putting him on a jet back to Texas. Yes, really. They are not here to play and if rich people would get a pass, then Ravenwood would become a free for all.
I am not going to lie, I couldn't help myself from getting a peek at seeing a Stronghold cleaning up the dining room. He was handy with a broom and students took pictures of him because that needed to be seen to be believed.
Seth, being his brother, took pity on him and tried to encourage Skylar to leave Jayden alone. If there is a boy untouchable in this Academy, it is him. He literally has nothing to gain from commenting on our union and for the first time in his life, Seth is drowning in proposals and invitations for dates. He is not lacking prospects nor does he need Jayden to claim him.
I mean, come on... leave me alone! I love Jayden and he loves me. Can we make it any more obvious than this? Love is love, dude, regardless of race, gender identity, or sexual orientation.
Hopefully, this lesson will humble Skylar, but I am not holding my breath.
In other news, the academy is fulfilling its purpose with stimulating classes that challenge and excite us with great life examples and interesting content.
They really put in an effort to make the classes as fun for us as possible - not to say that they always succeed in it. This is still a school.
If I watch another seminar on how to have safe sex as an Omega, I'll vomit. And not because I am pregnant. Unless I can get pregnant from oral, in which case I am fucked - and not in the way I would've wanted to.
"Good morning, Jake. I can't believe you're going to Texas! That is so sweet of your roommate to invite you. How come Seth is so well adjusted and his brother is an asshole?" Jayden greeted me on Friday morning as we walked together towards the cafeteria. Today he is going back to Georgia, with his grandfather, right after breakfast. It's the Alpha's 60th birthday.
"Good morning, Jay. I don't know. Maybe he was dropped as a baby? Who knows?" I snickered, while Skylar was glaring at us a few steps away. Seth was amused by this.
"Don't go falling for some handsome Texan, please. Come back to me!" He kissed my lips and I swooned.
"I couldn't if I tried, there's nobody more handsome than you." I flirted and he chuckled.
"You do know I am right here, right?" Skylar questioned me, teasingly.
"Unfortunately you weren't expelled yet, but here's hoping for a miracle before the end of the year." I shot back with a smug grin.
"I am glad that I have your support. I can't wait to spend three hours on a plane with you." He spoke sarcastically.
"Trust me, the feeling is mutual. The only reason I am even coming along on this trip is because of your brother. But you don't have to worry about me, I don't plan on speaking to you over the weekend." I snapped at him with a razor sharp glare.
"Let me know if he gives you grief. I can kill him in his sleep when he comes back." Jayden told me with a provocative smile.
"I am sure we won't need to resort to murder. If you kill a Stronghold, his father will send an RPG to Georgia." I spoke in a grim tone.
Frederick Stronghold is not a man to be crossed, especially if you touch his son and heir. That is the highest possible attack, going for someone's child. Just ask any mother.
"I was joking." Jayden rolled his eyes at me. I knew he was, just saying...
After breakfast, Jayden was gone in his grandfather's car towards the airport. It's a long drive, so that's why they left early.
