SKYLAR

I don't know what came over me.

Yesterday, I took Jake to the waterfalls that name our beautiful, quaint little town for a nice date. It was the only place where I knew nobody would be - during Summer or Spring you can't find a vacant spot near the river to save your life - and I knew it would be a romantic setting. I knew Seth wouldn't mind if Jake and I had some time alone.

As expected, Jake was mesmerized by the beautiful waterfalls. It was a chance for us to talk privately and we had a great time. After the whole Mandy debacle, I knew he needed a quiet, peaceful place, where he could gather his thoughts and we could talk freely.

The truth is Jake was in a lot of pain after meeting Mandy, which is precisely why I never brought her up in our conversations, thus far. She wasn't even on my mind, to be honest. We had a great relationship but it has run its course. And she knew that more than anybody.

When it was just Jake and me, it was great and playful. We talked extensively about our journey here and all the ups and downs we had so far. I made it clear to him that I was not hiding anything from him; I simply knew it would be painful to him for me to talk about her.

After we emptied a bottle of wine that I had "borrowed" from my parents' cellar, we returned to the manor where dinner would be served shortly. Later that night, we played charades, when once again the Omegas won against the Alphas. Jake is a master of interpretation and Seth seemed like he was mind-linking him the answers - which was impossible since we don't belong to the same pack as him, therefore we can't communicate like that.

When it was time to call it a night, I managed to persuade Jake to let me sleep with him once again - it wasn't a struggle, trust me - and we had a great night. I could do this forever, to be honest, even without the sex component of the relationship.

Early Monday morning, Jake woke up shaking over a nightmare he had. He dreamt that Mandy and I had supposedly gotten back together and laughed at him for thinking I would ever fall in love with him. *breathes out a sigh*

If only he knew how deep in love with him I already am...

Well, I sure tried to make my point across when I recited an impromptu poem for him. I mean, it wasn't a poem per se but a collection of statements I made declaring my love for him.

Honestly, I don't know what came over me, I just spoke from the heart and Jake was done for. He surrendered to me in such a way that I never expected him to. I am so baffled by it.

First, he took off my shirt, attacking me with kisses on the lips, then my neck. Instantly, I was engrossed by the soft touch of his lips on my skin. Whenever he kisses me, I am transported to a different place, I am in heaven and I never want it to stop.

I let out a moan as he sucks my earlobe into his mouth, playfully nibbling it. My eyes are already shining at the blinding lust I feel for him. He seems spellbound by me after that speech. In a moment, I flipped our bodies in bed and towered him with mine, first removing his shirt and then licking his neck.

I could feel Jake's body trembling with desire for me as my lips touched his neck. I could feel how much he wanted me and I wanted him back desperately. More than I have ever wanted anyone before in my life.

My shining eyes - marking the presence of my inner wolf taking control of my body - pointed me to his rosy nipples, ready to be played with. My tongue danced around his aureole causing him to release an uncontrollable moan. I relished the effect I had on him.

Just when I thought I had this in the bag, Jake pushed me off of him and rolled himself over my body, effectively sitting on my lap in the bed. He was wearing only underwear because that is how both of us slept last night, so he maliciously kept rubbing his ass on my hardness with a wicked grin. I see what you're doing, Omega.
