𝐏𝐈𝐏𝐄𝐑 𝐆𝐈𝐋𝐄𝐒 was the light of her father's life. After her mother left her in his care, he did all he could to give her a good life. She was happy, and she was loved. The only downside of being Rupert Giles' daughter?
She was destined to become a Watcher.
It was her family's tradition and she was expected to continue it.
When she and her father move to Sunnydale, California after his new Slayer is enrolled in the local high school, she meets the people who would change her life forever. But one, in particular, changes it for the better.

𝐂𝐇𝐀𝐒𝐄 𝐒𝐔𝐌𝐌𝐄𝐑𝐒 loved his twin sister more than he could ever properly say. Being older than Buffy by five minutes, he was naturally protective of her. But there was nothing he could do when she was activated as the newest Slayer.
Well, he helped her lie about why she set their high school gymnasium on fire to their very angry mother.
Suddenly, the Summers family was uprooted to Sunnydale, California in an effort for everybody to turn over a new leaf. Buffy tried to avoid her new Slayer duties while Chase tried to find a new normal.
Unfortunately, normal wasn't in anybody's dialogue at Sunnydale High.
But, as he met new friends, he met on person in particular who would change his life for the better.

━ with that being said, I do not support anything that has come out about joss whedon. the women and men who felt unsafe on his sets deserve so much better than they got. I love this show, it's my comfort show, but I do not love joss whedon.
━ piper giles and chase summers belong to me and only me. please do not steal any of their characterizations as that would be considered plagiarism and that's not cool.
━ some trigger warnings for this book include: death, torture, kidnapping, teenage drama, runaway teenagers, principal snyder. others will be added as the book progresses but please take care of yourselves.
