Lumipas ang isang linggo at naging mas abala pa si Shiruo sa trabaho. His mother urge him to go back in ShenYan but refuses and told her that they should give Cyanea a chance in the company as she is fit to run it.

Sa isang linggong iyon din ay nagkaroon siya ng maraming gawain dahil naging in demand siya sa industriyang kaniyang pinili. Despite someone bashing him because of his issue with Aliarie, some of them still sided him and said that it is his rights to choose his own path.

Shiruo yawned as he walked in the parking lot. Maaga pa lang kasi ay pinapunta na siya ng kaniyang manager sa Shine Entertainment para makapagsimula na sila ng bagong project para sa nalalapit na araw ng mga puso.

Dahil maaga pa ay naging mabagal ang kilos ni Shiruo na kahit paglakad niya ay paunti-unti niya pang binibilang. That is when his phone rang and the name of his manager appeared on the screen.

“Mr. Velarde, I can see you from up here,” bungad ni Jemarie.

“I’m still sleepy, okay?” he replied. “You’re a mother yourself, you know how hard it is to take care of a newborn baby. Iyong anak ko kasi, alas-dos pa lang ng madaling araw ay gising na gising na at ayaw paawat sa pag-iyak hanggang hindi siya nakakadede.”

Jemarie on the other line is holding back her laugh and smiles. Hindi sinekreto ni Shiruo ang tungkol sa bagay na iyon kaya buo ang tiwala niya rito. Him telling the truth is also the reason why she haven’t given up on him despite the rumors circulating around the industry.

Honestly, she would have refuse a star like him base on what the people are telling about him. Masaya si Jemarie na mas pinakinggan niya ang panig ni Shiruo at ngayon nga ay naging highest paid model kaagad siya kahit wala pa siyang isang buwan doon.

“You know what? I have a better idea, Shiruo, but you might decline about it.”

“Yeah?” Shiruo keeps on yawning as he walks. Sanay naman siya noon sa puyat dahil sa mga shoot nila noong photographer pa siya sa dating pinagtatrabahuhan, ngunit tila nag-iba iyon nang maisilang si Baby Shin.

“I haven’t known your baby’s gender yet, and the name.”

“Huh? Why bring that up all of the sudden? Hanna and I had a baby boy and we named him Shin Haruo. His nickname is Baby Shin but my cousins mostly called him Shio, short for Shin Haruo,” Shiruo unconsciously answered. Kulang na kulang talaga siya sa tulog.

“Perfect!” Sobrang lawak ng mga ngiti ni Jemarie na parang may binabalak na hindi maganda. “Since we are going to shoot for Valentines and you are gonna have a partner for this one, we are thinking that Vena would be a fit as your partner but now that you mentioned it, I would like to suggest to bring your son and your wife here for the shoot. Let’s make this a family photoshoot.”

“Eh?” And before Shiruo could say another word, Jemarie hung up.

Sinilid ni Shiruo ang cellphone sa bulsa. Binilisan niya ang lakad para kausapin ng mabuti ang manager niya. Firstly, he don’t want his son to be exposed on social media especially Hanna. With the rumors going on, he don’t think he can do it.

As he made his way inside the building, a woman came rushing towards him with a sour mood.

“Shiruo!”

Napaatras si Shiruo sa gulat. Hindi niya inakala na pupuntahan siya ni Aliarie doon at parang naghintay pa ito ng tiyempo para lang makita siya.

“What are you doing here?” For all Shiruo knows, Aliarie doesn’t have any business in Shine Entertainment, unless they hired her to design someone else’s office.
