The Commercial

The car screeched to a sudden halt, jolting you forward as it almost gave you a heart attack. You pant in relief, thanking your lucky stars for the seatbelt that saved your life.

"Watch it, jerk!" you shouted at the driver.

"Chill, lady. You're in safe hands," the driver replied casually.

"Safe hands my a*s, you nearly killed me!" you retorted.

The driver let out a chuckle. "Well, guess what? You've arrived in no time." he said with a sly grin.

You furrowed your brow, completely unaware that you had arrived at the hotel, until you peered out the window.

As you gazed out, a sudden bolt of lightning illuminated the scene, casting an eerie and unwelcoming glow over the hotel, sending shivers down your spine.

You let out a sigh as you leaned back to your seat, "How much for the ride?" you asked the driver,

"50," came his reply.

"50 bucks?!" you exclaimed in disbelief.

"Is there a problem? If you can't pay it, there will always be another way," he said, leaning in closer with a smirk.

Instinctively, you backed away from the driver, a surge of panic risen as you fumbled to retrieve the cash from the envelope that Lucifer had given you.

You abruptly flung the money in his face then stormed out of the car.

"Go f*ck yourself!" you spat, slamming the car door with such force that passersby couldn't help but turn their heads on you.

The driver laughs devilishly, "Looking forward to see ya again, babe!" he said as he starts the car and drove away.

You experienced an overwhelming sense of relief as the as*hole disappeared from the view. You had been forced to tolerate his presence in the car from the moment you first stepped inside.

You had a strong suspicion that the driver would attempt to exploit you, given that you appeared to be unfamiliar with the area, even though you were actually in disguise and not as unsuspecting as you seemed.

You let out a sigh as you gazed up at the building towering in front of you. "Hazbin... Did they change the name or something?" you mused, a hint of confusion in your voice.

Shrugging off your curiosity, you muttered to yourself, "Well, whatever."

And began making your way toward the entrance. As you reached the door, you knocked on it three times,
the sound echoed through the silence of the surrounding area.

You waited expectantly, but there was no response.

"Tch," you grunted in frustration, knocking once more with added force.
