After Joseph's successful attempt to land the plane, we were rescued and were safely now in Hong Kong. The first thing the older man did was contact the speedwagon foundation while we waited for him. "I'm starving." I said and my stomach confirmed my words, making its complaint known. I would be embarrassed if not I was so tired from the whole flight, now adrenaline wearing off.

As if the Gods heard my prayers, a guy talked to Jotaro asking him if we wanted to eat rice porridge. "Not bad" was all that Kakyoin said acknowledging the salesman's words. "Did you know guys that unlike in Japan, rice porridge is a staple in Hong Kong?" I shared a look with the other teenager, dressed in black as the redhead turned around in order to order his food.

After ending his phone call Joseph joined us and told us about how we should eat at his favourite spot. "Hey, want to try some hot cola?" The salesman asked him interrupting Jotaro's grandfather.

"Hot?! Everyone knows it's supposed to be cold!"

"Hey old man, who were you just calling?" His grandson ignored his previous sentance. "I'll tell you later. Now, let's head to the shop, we'll need to work out a plan that'll get us to Egypt." His behaviour became serious, eyes furrowed and the tension returned.

The restaurant was traditional. The wooden flour and glass doors could easily be the evidence of it. Wooden chairs and a green tablecloth welcomed us as we sat to discuss the best route and the safest to follow.

While Avdol and Joseph discussed their plan, the teenagers bored decided to talk. In particular Kakyoin was dying to learn more about the only girl in the group, and he wasn't the only one. Jotaro was equally curious, but his pride did not let him ask what he was really itching to learn. "So, what is your Stand's ability?" The redhead finally found the fortitude to ask straight.

"Devil's Advocate ability is to extract information. Specifically with a simple look in your eyes I could learn your deepest fears or desires and use the against you. It also can give me some head ups about people's personalities. For instance if someone is stubborn or greedy."

"I think I get it. But what about the tattoos? Do they have a purpose?" He asked again. "They do. How do I put it... it's like making deals. When you struck a deal, a tattoo appears as a signature, and the only way for it to disappear is to complete the deal. If someone tries to cheat the tattoo will punish them. That is true for me and the other user."

"So your stand's ability is making deals?" Jotaro finally spoke, as he was invested in the conversation that was unfolding in front of him. "No, not exactly. It's illusions, and making deals like you said, but my main ability is all about control. My victims? Let's refer to them like that, become tranced and they fulfil my every command."

"And how does someone escape?"

"Only willpower can break their haze."

"That's cool and terrifying at the same time." Kakyoin said and I snorted. "So you really can see my biggest fears just by looking at me?"

"Yes. Do you want me to tell you about it?"

He hesitated before speaking. "Maybe another time." I smiled and reassured him that if he did not want I would not speak about it. "Pardon me, sorry to bother, I'm visiting from France, and I'm having some difficulty making sense of the menu. Would you be able to tell me what these characters mean?"

Another buff man with white hair which seemed to defy gravity stood in front of us. He was pale and had no eyebrows, a black tight fitted top and white pants.

"You're annoying, Get the hell out of here." Jotaro told him without sparing him a glance. I kicked his leg under the table and if looks could kill, I would have died twice. "Don't be rude Kujo, sure Mister we'll help you." At that he smiled wide and sat next to me, on a vacant seat. "Thank you, ma chérie!" Jotaro clicked his tongue but stayed quiet.
