Maggie was wrapped in my flannel as her, Glenn, and I sat on the floor waiting for the men's next move.
I took deep breaths as I wanted to start crying, thinking about Daryl. His words from the farm played in my head over and over again. "Carol's girl's missin' and I'll be damned if mine goes missin' too." There was never a day after the day I met Daryl wear we weren't together.
"Maggie, did he-" Glenn trailed off.
"No. No. He barely touched me." Maggie answered. "Bela?" Glenn asked, looking over at me. I continued to stare straight in front of me as I shook my head.
"All this time, running from walkers- you forget what people do, have always done." Maggie said. "Look at what they did to you." "Doesn't matter." Glenn said. "As long as he didn't-" Maggie shook her head. "No. I promise."
They hugged each other. While Glenn's arm was around Maggie, his hand was on my shoulder, giving me a light squeeze. I rested my head on his hand for a moment before putting it back against the wall.
"Hey." Glenn said as they broke apart. He got up and went over to the dead walker. He pulled off its arm. I made a disgusted face as he broke it and took out the bone. He handed it to Maggie.

As the door opened, we attacked Merle and the other man he was with. I pinned the other man against the wall, and Maggie pushed the walker bone into his neck. As he fell to the ground, his gun went off.
Glenn was fighting Merle and ended up being pinned to the ground under Merle's blade. I grabbed the dead man's gun and pointed it at Merle's head.
'Let him go, Merle!" I shouted. Merle thought with a smirk.
"Okay." He said, putting his hands up. Two guns clicked from behind me as I looked. "Give me the gun!" Merle yelled, grabbing the gun from my hands. "Get up!" He yelled at Glenn.
We were brought back into the room and put onto our knees. I tried to stay calm and tough, but knowing one or all three of us were gonna die made that hard.
"Glad we could catch up." Merle said. Glenn grabbed Maggie's hand. "Just keep looking at me." He told her. "I love you." Maggie said before a bag was put over her face. I looked at Glenn right before a bag was put over his face.
My breath quickened as tears filled my eyes. I stood up and faced Merle. "If you're gonna kill anybody, kill me." I said. "Get back on the ground, Izzy." "They don't deserve this, Merle." I walked in front of him. "Kill me." "Get on the ground." He repeated. I put his gun to my chest. "Kill... me." I said through tears.
Merle looked into my eyes before kicking me in the stomach. I fell to my knees. "You should have listened to me, Izzy." He said. A bagged covered my face just like Glenn and Maggie.
"On your feet, move. Let's go, come on." A man said as they grabbed us. We were pushed out of the room. There was light clanking of metal before a loud explosion. I started coughing as smoke filled the air.
I felt someone grab me and pull me out of the smoke. Gunshots rang out, and I jumped and started to slow down, but whoever had a hold of me kept dragging me with them.
The bag was pulled off of my head. Oscar was the one dragging me. Rick and Maggie were helping Glenn. Some woman trailed behind us along with Daryl.
We ran into a building, and Glenn fell to the ground in pain. Maggie sat next to him as he leaned against a counter.
"Ain't no way out back here." Daryl said. "Rick, how did you find us?" Maggie asked.
"How bad are you hurt?" Rick asked Glenn. "I'll be alright." He replied.
Daryl walked over to me and pulled my chin up to look at him. " 're ya alright?" He asked. I nodded. "Yeah."
"Where's that woman?" Maggie asked. "She was right behind us." Rick said.
"Maybe she was spotted." Oscar said. "Want me ta go look for 'er?" Daryl asked. "No, we gotta get them out of here. She's on her own." Rick replied.
I grabbed Daryl's arm. "Dad, Merle's here. He did that to Glenn." I said through previous tears. "You saw him? Face to face." Rick asked. "He threw a walker at me. He was gonna execute us." Glenn replied.
"S-So my brother's this governor?" Daryl asked. "No, it's someone else. He works with him or something." I said. "Does he know I'm still with ya?" I nodded. "He does now. Rick, I'm sorry. We told him where the prison was. We couldn't hold out." Glenn said.
"Don't. No need to apologize." Rick said. "They're gonna be looking for us." Maggie said. "We have to get back. Can you walk?" Rick asked. "We got a car a few miles out." "I'm good." Glenn replied. Maggie and Rick helped him to his feet.
"Hey, if Merle's around, I need to see him." Daryl said. "Not now. We're in hostile territory." Rick told him. "He's my brother. I ain't gonna-" "Look what he did. Look, we gotta- we gotta get out of here now." "Maybe I can talk to him. Maybe I can work somethin' out." Daryl said.
"No, no, no. You're not thinking straight. Look, no matter what they say, they're hurt. Glenn can barely walk. How are we gonna make it out if we get overrun by walkers and this governor catches up to us? I need you. Are you with me?" "Yeah."

Daryl pulled the pin on another smoke bomb. "On three. Stay tight." Rick said. "One, two, three." Daryl threw the smoke bomb before pulling the pin on another and throwing it outside as well.
We ran out the door as gunfire started. I covered my ears and stuck by Oscar's side. "I got you, kid. Come on." He grabbed my arm, and we ran for cover with the rest of the group.
"How many?" Rick asked. "I didn't see." Oscar replied. "Don't matter. There's gonna be more of them. We need to move." Daryl said. "Any grenades left?" Rick asked. "Uh-huh." Daryl replied. "Get 'em ready. We gotta gun into the wall." Rick said.
"You guys go ahead. I'm gonna lay down some cover fire." Daryl said. "No, we have to stay together." I said. "It's too hairy. I'll be right behind ya." He pulled the pin on another can. "Ready?" He asked before throwing it into the street.
We ran for the wall. I climbed on top of the bus and pulled Glenn up, and Oscar pushed him.
Once Glenn was up, Oscar groaned in pain. He was shot. "Oscar!" I yelled. He fell to the ground.
"Rick! Rick!" Maggie yelled as she fell next to Oscar, seeing if he was alive. He wasn't. He was gone. He was dead. Maggie shot Oscar to prevent him from turning.
"Daryl!" I yelled as Rick and Maggie climbed onto the bus. "Go!" Daryl yelled. "Come on!" I yelled. "Bela, let's go!" Rick yelled. "Not without Daryl!"
Rick grabbed the back of my shirt and pulled me down. "No! Let me go!" Rick dragged me away. "Shh!" Rick said. "We have to go back." I said. "He'll come. He said he'd be right behind us."
We hid behind a car in front of the gate. The woman they were with climbed out from under a train car. Rick cocked his gun and pointed it at her. "Where the hell were you?" He asked.
"Put your hands up." She slowly raised her hands. "Turn around. Turn around." She did, and Rick pulled her sword out from its scabbard. She leaned against the train car. "Get what you came for?" Rick asked.
"Where are the rest of your people?" She asked. "They got Oscar. Daryl's missing. You didn't see him?" I asked. "If anything happens to him, I swear to God I'll-" "I brought your people here to save you." She cut me off.
"Thanks for the help." Rick said. "You'll need help to get them back to the prison or to go back in there for Daryl. Either way, you need me." She said. "We have to get him back." I told Rick, holding back tears.
