Daryl, Glenn, and I walked into the house after finding a walker Randall.

"Rick an' Shane ain't back?" Daryl asked.

"No." Lori answered.

"We heard a shot." I said. "Maybe they found Randall." Lori said. "No, we found him." I replied.

"Is he back in the shed?" Maggie asked. "He's a walker." I told her.

"Did you find the walker that bit him?" Hershel asked.

"No, the weird thing is he wasn't bit." Glenn said. " 'is neck was broke." Daryl said.

"So he fought back." Patricia said. "The thing is, Shane and Randall's tracks were right on top of each other. An' Shane ain't no tracker, so he didn't come up behind him. They were together." Daryl said.

"Would you please get back out there, find Rick and Shane, and find out what on Earth is going on?" Lori asked. "Ya got it." Daryl said. "Thank you." Lori replied.

Daryl grabbed the bottom of my jacket and took me with him. Andrea and Glenn followed us. Once we got outside, we saw a hoard of walkers headed towards the farm.

"Hershel?" Andrea called out quietly. He came outside. "Patricia, kill the lights." He said. "I'll get the guns." Andrea said.

"Maybe they're just passing, like the herd on the highway. Should we just go inside?" Glenn asked. "Not unless there's a tunnel downstairs I don't know about." Daryl said. "A herd that size would rip the house down."

Lori ran over to us. "Carl's gone." She said. "What?" I responded. "He–he was upstairs. I can't find him anymore." "Maybe he's hiding." Glenn said. "He's supposed to be upstairs. I'm not leaving without my boy."

"We're not. We're gonna look again. We're gonna find him." Carol said. They rushed into the house and started to search for Carl.

Andrea came outside with the guns. She started handing them out. "Maggie." Glenn said. "You grow up country, you pick up a thing or two." She replied. Man, I love her. "I got the number– it's no use." Daryl said.

"You can go if you want." Hershel said. "Ya gonna take 'em all on?" Daryl asked. Hershel loaded and clicked his gun. "We have guns. We have cars." He said. "Kill as many as we can, and we'll use the cars to lead the rest of them off the farm." Andrea said.

"Are you serious?" Daryl asked. "This is my farm. I'll die here." Hershel told him. "Alright. It's as good a night as any. C'mon." Daryl said, nudging my arm and climbing over the railing. I followed him to his bike.

" 'member what I taught ya?" He asked. "Are you serious?" I replied. "Keep it steady." I climbed onto the bike and started it. Daryl climbed on, and I rode wherever Daryl pointed to or said to go.

Daryl tapped my leg. "R.V." He said. I drove over to it and saw Beth's little boyfriend shooting walkers. "Yo! Must've been Rick or Shane, who started at fire." Daryl told him. "Maybe they're trying to get out back! Why don't you circle around?"

"Got it!" He replied. "Go!" Daryl said.

We continued to make rounds across the farm. I stopped the bike. "Hell 're ya doin'?" Daryl asked. "I saw them! Rick and Carl." Daryl grabbed my arm. "Isa, no!" "Dad!" I didn't realize what I said until I saw Daryl's face. "Let me go." I told him. Daryl slowly let go of my arm, and I ran after Rick and Carl. "Hey! Over here!" I yelled.

"Isabela!" I heard Carl yell. "Carl!" I shot walkers as I ran for him. Rick had headed towards Hershel. Walkers were slowly surrounding us.

I took off my bow and quiver and put them on Carl's back. "Come on." I said, turning around and getting on one knee. Carl got onto my back, and I ran to the truck where Rick and Hershel were.
