AMAN

The next morning, as I slowly woke up I felt a heavy weight resting on my legs. I opened my eyes and looked down to see my adorable wife sleeping peacefully on me. Her head was resting on my chest and her arms were wrapped around my neck like a little koala bear. On top of everything she was wearing my oversized shirt. It made her look even more small and adorable, like a little mouse cuddled up in a giant blanket. I chuckled softly as I noticed the way she was clinging onto me.

Suddenly the alarm clock started to ring, interrupting her peaceful morning but instead of waking up my wife let out a cute little whine and snuggled into my chest like a tired baby. I chuckled quietly and wrapped my arms around her.

"I'm sooooooo lazy. I don't want to go to the office." She mumbled into my chest. I couldn't help but laugh at her adorable behavior.

"I know you're tired, but you have to go to work." I said gently running my fingers through her hair.

She pouted and got out of the bed dramatic huff. "I hate you!" She declared and stomped over to the closet.

She is so adorable when she is grumpy.

"You've said that to me a lot of time sweetheart." I said watching her search the closet looking for nothing in particular.

She stomped over to me with her messy hair and stood infront of me folding her hand over her chest. "This time I really meant it!" She said, like an angry little kitten trying to intimidate a lion.

"You look so cute when you get angry baby." I said, unable to resist teasing her.

I watched as her small fist clenching tightly at her side. She was about to storm into the bathroom but I caught her hand and pulled her towards me and she fell on the bed beside me with a soft thump.

"If you hate me then give me my shirt back." I whispered into her ear teasingly.

"I have plenty of clothes with me, I don't want your shirt. Leave me, I need to get freshen up. Then I'll give." She said making an attempt to get out of my hold.

"No, I want my tshirt right now." I wrapped my arms around her from behind and rested my head on her shoulder.

"Hawww?? Leave me! Before marriage, you were acting so innocent but now look at you. You don't have a thing called shame." She said trying to get out of my grip but I held her firmly in place.

"No, I don't have a single ounce of shame." I teased her and brushed my lips against her ear. "After all you're my wife now. I can be as shameless as I want."

I then leaned in close to her ear. "Should I show you just how shameless I can be?" She responded by trying to pull away but before she could escape I started to tickle her mercilessly.

"Aman.. stop it.. please..Ahaahha.. Aman!!" I ignored her pleas and continued to tickle her. But when I saw her breathless and flushed I stopped.

I pulled her close wrapping my arms around her in a tight embrace and closed my eyes. "Aman... it's almost 6 now. I need to and get ready." She spoke up softly.

"No baby," I replied, holding her even tighter. "We have plenty of time." I buried my face in her hair, inhaling the sweet scent of her hair.

"I need to go down and help maa. If I keep getting late, what will she think of me?" She said trying to free herself from my arms but I wouldn't budge.

"We're newly married so she'll understand. It's not like we're doing anything wrong. It's perfectly natural for newly married couple to spend time together." I told her.
