Couple of hours later, Beth arrived home. She run at her mother's hug and started talking with her family. Her mom was cooking her favorite food. Beth was so happy to be back home. She took up her phone and texted Viv.

B: "Whitby says hi to Hoogeveen. How are you Viv?"
V: "Hoogeveen sends Whitby it's regards. I found out I broke up with Lisa a couple of hours ago. Can you imagine?"

Beth chuckled.

B: "We are being sarcastic now, aren't we? Nice pictures though. How are you feeling Vivianne?"
V: "Mentioning my full name means serious question. I am ok, just waiting for the topic to settle down. I 'll live I guess."
B: "It would take me 5 hours to full name you if I wanted to Vivianne 😂"

Viv laughs out loud. Lars gave her a questioning look.

V: "Are you mocking me Bethany Jane Mead?"
B: "Maybe I am. Hey! Who is full naming who now? You are lucky you are far away."
V: "507.11 km to be precise."
B: "Really Viv?"
V: "Not afraid of you, though."
B: "You should be."
V: "It's still a no. Have to go now, speak later?"
B: "Sure, enjoy your day!"
V: "You, too."

Viv look up from her phone and Lars still was staring at her with a questioning look.

La: Wil je dit delen? (Care to share?)
V: Ik was net met een vriend aan het praten. (I was just talking with a friend.)
La: Je zag er gelukkig uit. Dat vind ik leuk. (You looked happy. I like that.)
V: Dank je Lars. Laten we gaan. (Thank you, Lars. Let's go.)

Viv and Lars went out of the house and spent all day together. Meanwhile in Whitby, Beth went for shopping with her brother, Ben. Beth threw 8 packages of Yorkshire tea in the basket. Ben looked at Beth with surprise.

Be: Why are you buying all this tea Beth? Are you planning not coming back home again? Ben laughs.
B: What? Haha. No, you idiot, it's not all for me. I promise Viv to bring her some after holidays because she liked it a lot.
Be: Viv? You mean your teammate? Viv Miedema? I didn't know you two hang out.
B: Our friendship grows a lot day by day. We help each other a lot. She's been a wonderful friend to me all this time after our break ups.
Be: Aw! That's nice Bethy. Glad you have good friends around you.
B: Yeah, I am too.

Later that day while Beth was watching TV on the couch with her family Viv texted her.

V: "Hoogeveen calling Whitby. Whitby are you there?"
B: "You mean texting. You never call 😂"

Moments later Beth's phone started ringing. Beth looked at the screen, it was Viv calling. She jumped off the couch and went to her room.

B: "Hello...?"
V: "Who never calls now?"
B: "Well, I guess in that case, now Hoogeveen indeed calls Whitby."
V: "How was your day?"
B: "Good. Family time. Tell me about yours."
V: "Same. Spent all day with my brother. Just laid in my bed actually."
B: "Are you going to sleep?"
V: "Ja, in a bit. How about you? Any plans for the night?"
B: "No, not really. Maybe watch a movie and sleep right after."
V: "Most probably in the middle of the movie to be honest Beth. Haha."
B: "Moron. Go to sleep."
V: "Ah, you got bored of me already. I see. Goodnight then, Bethany."
B: "Why you are always such an idiot?"
V: "Can't help it. I was born this way."
B: "Goodnight Vivianne." Beth giggles.
V: "Goodnight Beth."

Viv ended the call and smiled. She turned around, grabbed her teddy bear and fell asleep. Beth after Viv ended the call, stayed in bed for a while, smiling and looking at the roof. Then she got up and went down to the living room to join her family while they were already watching a movie. She found herself unable to focus on the movie, her mind was at the conversation she had with Viv. She took her phone on her hand and read their conversation again. She was smiling. Ben was looking at her and smiled.
