Cozy nights

The bell rung. Beth woke up and felt a little lost. She opened the door and saw Viv standing.

V: H-Hi!
B: Hey. Beth smiled. Come in.
V: Were you sleeping?
B: Yes, I don't know how I overslept so much.
V: Want me to leave? You can sleep if you are tired and I can go to Katie's, it's no problem really.
B: No, no, no. I am happy you are here I just overslept. Unless you want to go to Katie's.
V: No, I 've had enough Irish energy for one day.
B: How about English energy?
V: That I can have some more please.
B: If you insist. Beth chuckles.
V: Did you eat? Want to order some pizza?
B: No, I didn't. Yes, order whatever you like.
V: Great, I am ordering now. Have you chosen a movie yet?
B: Umm.. No, give me a second. How about a lesbian romance? Or a comedy maybe?
V: I 'll go with the first one. Let's cry a little. Haha.
B: What Vivianne wants, that Vivianne gets.

They both chuckled. Beth put on the movie and they started watching. About 20 minutes later the pizza arrived. Beth stood up to open the door and she was searching for her wallet.

V: You don't need your wallet. It's already payed. Just take the pizza and come here.
B: *Beth took the pizza and thanked the delivery boy* Why did you pay? Never letting you order again.
V: It's nothing Beth, you invited me here, it was the least I could do to thank you.

Beth placed the pizza on the table and went to the kitchen to bring two plates and some napkins.

B: Want to drink something? I have some soft drinks and wine.
V: Just water please no need to make a big fuss.
B: No fuss Vivianne. I want you to feel comfortable here. You sure only water?
V: Do you prefer something else? If so, I am having what you are having then.
B: Great! I 'll be right back.

Beth went back to the kitchen she took two glasses and a bottle of wine. She removed the cork and came back to the living room.

V: So, wine it is.

Viv took the bottle and poured the wine firstly in Beth's glass and then at hers. In the same time Beth took Viv's plate, put three slices of pizza on it and placed it in front of Viv. She served herself as well and pressed play to resume the movie. After a while they were both full and relaxed on the couch. Viv keeped moving her feet and changed positions, Beth was looking at her.

B: Having trouble getting comfortable? Want to lay down maybe?
V: Umm..
B: Come here.

Beth took a pillow and put it on her legs. Viv looked at her, Beth nodded at her and then she laid on the couch and put her head on the pillow on Beth's legs.

B: Better?
V: A lot to be honest.
B: Glad to hear that.

They sit like that, no one was moving, they were watching the movie. The only thing you could hear was the movie's dialogues. The atmosphere was so peaceful, low lights, silence, such a cozy feeling for both of them. Beth kept giving looks at Viv during the movie. Viv's eyes started to feel heavy. After a while Viv fell asleep. Beth was looking at Viv with a shy smile. She put her fingers through Viv's hair and started very gentle caresses. Viv's body completely relaxed at the touch and a tiny smile formed on her sleepy face.
"What am I going to do with you Vivianne?" Beth thought. She couldn't stop looking at Viv while she was sleeping. "You are the most wonderful and kind person I 've ever met. I hope you know that. You are so beautiful I can't take my eyes off of you." with these thoughts Beth fell asleep too, after a while.
