Days were passing by; Beth and Viv still were a little awkward with each other. They haven't been alone since that day. Things at training were different though, they were still a deadly combination, nothing changed on how well they play together. It was the last training before Sunday's match against West Ham and Viv seemed a little nervous, so Beth made the first move to talk to her.

B: Hey everything ok?
V: Umm. Kind of. But I 'll make it. How about you?
B: Are you nervous for tomorrow? It's the first time you will see Lisa after her moving out, right?
V: Yeah, I don't know how to feel about it to be honest.
B: Don't overthink. Let it be. I am here, we will get through this together if you want.

Beth touched Viv on her knee and looked kindly at her. Viv shyly smiled at Beth and touched her hand.

V: Thank you, Beth, really. It means a lot.
B: Want to hang out tomorrow after the match? It may help your overthinking settle down. Also, you forgot your tea the other day.
V: Ja, sure. I 'd love to.
B: Tomorrow then?
V: Tomorrow then.

Beth gave Viv a pat on her hand and left to go to the showers. Viv packed her bag and left training with Katie and Lotte.

Lo: How do you feel about tomorrow, Viv?
V: I am a little nervous.
K: We are here for you mate. We back you, always.
V: Thank you, guys. Beth talked to me. She asked me how I feel and if I want to hang out with her tomorrow after the match.
Lo: That's nice Viv!
K: Finally, you will spend some time alone. It's been 10 days now since that day?
V: Yeah, little less, I think. We only saw each other at training and when we went all together out for drinks or something.
Lo: You did give her space and time to come to you when she is ready.
V: I thought it was the best to do. Can't wait seeing her tomorrow though.
K: It will be perfect Viv, you will see.
Lo: I am sure she missed you.
V: I don't know about her, but surely, I missed her a lot.

Viv brought Lotte and then Katie home and returned back at her house. Back at the training ground Beth went out of the showers and got ready to go home. She got into her car, turned on the engine and put music on. She was listening to Cornelia Street, the live in Paris version that Viv told her and the picture of Viv whispering the song's lyrics came vividly to her mind. Beth smiled. She parked her car outside her home, locked the car, unlocked the door and got inside. She went straight to her bedroom to change and put her pjs on. She went back to the living room, turned on the tv and laid on the couch. After a while she took the pillow and laid her head on it. Suddenly Viv came back in her mind. "That scent. Something smells like Viv. The pillow! It's the pillow she fell asleep that night. Oh, Vivi. How I wish you were here. I missed you so much." And with these thoughts Beth fell asleep peacefully.

The game day has come. Katie was already out of Viv's home waiting for Viv to come down.

V: Good morning.
K: Good morning goat! Ready to get some points back home?
V: Hope so, haha.
K: Let's go Viv!

Katie started the engine and head to the pitch. When they arrived in the changing room Beth was already there. Viv went next to her; their lockers were one next to the other. Beth seemed a little nervous.

V: Hey you, good morning. Viv smiled at Beth.
B: Good morning, Viv. Beth's eyes were lightened up looking at Viv.
V: Ready for the match?
B: I think so. I have a good feeling for the result. You?
V: I am ready, let's go get these points.
