Moments of bravery

Beth was ready half an hour later to meet up with her best friends. She looked at the mirror to see her outfit. She was wearing a white t-shirt, a black jacket and black jeans with white shoes. She put on her perfume and then took her wallet, her smartphone and keys and went outside. She got in her car and started driving downtown. Jen and Steph were already there when Beth arrived and then all the three of them got inside the sushi restaurant.

J: You look stunning Beffy. Meeting someone later?
B: Thank you, Yennifer, but unfortunately no.
S: You got already enough Miedema energy for the day? Steph chuckled.
B: Haha, in fact no Stephy. I would happily have some more.
J: Awww Beffyyyy. Viv had plans for the night?
B: I don't know, I think no. I know she will meet up with Katie for lunch but I don't know if she has plans for later.
S: So why don't you meet later?
B: Because we spent the whole night and morning together.
J: So...?
B: I seem clingy. Viv was mocking me about that.
S: She must have her reasons I suppose... Steph smirked.
B: STEPHY.
J: Want to share with us how was your time with Viv this time?
B: Yes, if Stephy stops looking at me like that. Beth frowned.
S: Just teasing you Beffy. Tell us about your time with Viv. We are here for you.
B: Thank you. It was really wonderful. Everything was perfect. She was so kind with me, so gentle, she gave me bites from her plate, she cooked the day after. We laughed so much but we got also too close at times.
J: Did you kiss??
B: No Jen.
S: But did you want to?
B: It was one moment that I was too close to kiss her to be honest with you.
J: Tell us everything.

Jen and Steph got closer to Beth and were looking at her with the eyes wide open.

B: You are idiots haha. She was mocking me, calling me clingy. At some point I attacked her to tickle her. So, I got her on the corner of the couch unable to move because I was holding her.
S: It gets more and more interesting.
B: Stephy...
J: Continueeeee Beeeeth.
B: So... I was tickling her; she couldn't stand more and I asked her "You give?" she said yes and then I set her free but we were too close. I could feel her breathing, I looked at her for some moments and she went completely frozen. So, I moved back. God knows how much I wanted to kiss her but I think she wasn't ready.
S: If you felt that way, you did the right thing.
J: Yes, I agree with Steph. You will understand when the time is right to make your move.
B: She was very touchy though. First time ever. She was holding my hand the whole night, she was caressing me in every chance she had. I felt so safe when she was holding me and so calm.
S: Our Beffy is falling in love Jennifeeeeeer.
J: Vivianne Miedema you are the luckiest woman on earth.
B: You are morons. Enough, let's have some sushi now. Beth giggled.
J: Think about it though. To ask her if she wants to meet up again later.
S: How was she when you left?
B: She looked sad; she told me she didn't want me to leave in her own cute way.
J: Think about it.
S: Let's have some lunch now and get back to this again after.

They started eating and changed the topic. In the meantime, Viv was waiting for Katie to get out of her house.

K: Sorry Viv, did you wait long?
V: No worries, are you ok?
K: Yeah, where are we going?
V: What do you have in mind?
K: Are you hungry? We can go eat something.
V: Nice idea.

Viv parked the car downtown and started walking with Katie to find somewhere to eat. As they were walking, they passed outside the sushi restaurant where the girls were eating.
