Moments of bravery pt.2

The clock just turned to 02:30, Beth's alarm started ringing. Beth woke up immediately and got up from the couch. She looked at her phone, Viv had already texted her.

V: "Good morning Yorki. Just arrived to the airport. Hope you are having a peaceful sleep. Want to pick you up for training later?"

She started getting ready and 10 minutes later she was already in her car driving to the airport. She was so happy that she will finally meet Viv again. An hour later she arrived at the airport and she was waiting at the arrivals. She was a little nervous she was continually moving her foot up and down. She went to buy two bottles of water and then she saw at the screens that Viv's plane has landed. She got more nervous but then, 10 minutes later she finally saw her.

Viv was walking with her suitcase, her airpods on and was searching for Katie. Beth didn't think about it, she run towards Viv, Viv was totally surprised and Beth jumped on her. Viv drop off the handle of the suitcase and caught Beth with both of her hands.

V: What are you doing here?
B: I missed you so f*cking much.

Viv tightened the hug a lot. Beth was holding Viv strongly too.

V: You are unbelievable. I missed you too.
B: Please hold me. Don't let go yet.
V: I won't. God I missed your scent so bad.
B: I missed your hold, your touch, your scent. Everything. I missed you.

They stayed like this for some minutes and then Viv let Beth on the ground again. They looked at each other so intensely and then Viv took her suitcase and started walking with Beth to the car.

V: You are crazy. Why did you come here in the middle of the night? We have training later.
B: I don't care. I wanted to see you and make sure you arrive home safely.
V: Did you bring your training bag with you?
B: I have it in the car, why?
V: You are staying with me tonight.
B: Do I have a choice?
V: Oh, errmmm sorr-
B: Don't even think finishing that sentence.

Viv giggled shyly and they both got inside Beth's car. Beth put on Taylor Swift's songs and Viv smiled kindly at her. Beth was driving and kept looking at Viv from time to time. Viv seemed a little nervous. Beth patted Viv at her leg.

B: Are you ok?
V: Yeah, just a little tired.

Beth took off her hand from Viv's leg but then something unexpected happened. Viv grabbed Beth's hand and put it back on her leg, she then put her own hand over Beth's hand and held her for the rest of the ride. The only time Beth left Viv's hand was when she needed to change the gear and then touched her hand again right after. They were both smiling and there was a warm feeling between them in the whole ride.

Half an hour later, Beth parked her car in front of Viv's house. They both got out of the car, Viv unlocked the door and they got inside.

B: We have about 4 hours to sleep.
V: You need pjs.
B: Just give me a t-shirt of yours I 'll be fine.
V: You sure? Want to pick?

Beth picked a blue Netherlands t-shirt that Viv had in her wardrobe. Viv make a move to turn around but Beth had other plans.

B: There is no need to turn around. You have seen me in a swimsuit. There is not much difference with the underwear.

Viv gulped and sat down on the bed. She looked down, but she was giving fast looks at Beth. Beth changed clothes and laid down on the bed. Viv took her pjs and went to the bathroom to change. Then she came back at the bed.
