Aebelle found herself wandering aimlessly in a field of flowers. The air was sweet with the scent of honeysuckle and the sun dripped through the leaves, dappling the ground with light.

"It's so beautiful....." she breathed, her voice barely a whisper.

Then she saw her. A woman with long hair, as white as Aebelle's own short, white hair, sat perched on a boulder, her back to Aebelle. The woman was dressed in a flowing white dress that seemed to shimmer in the light.

Aebelle approached cautiously, unable to tear her eyes from the woman's graceful form. "Uh.... excuse me?" she called out, her voice a touch too high.

The woman turned slowly, and Aebelle gasped. The light that emanated from her was blinding, a white brilliance that filled Aebelle's vision. Aebelle stumbled back, shielding her eyes.

Then, abruptly, she woke up.

"Ahh! R-Ruby?" she exclaimed, rubbing her eyes, still disoriented.

Ruby, her face lit with concern, shook Aebelle gently. "Hey! Wake up! You were having a dream."

"And Yang!" added Yang.

Aebelle sat up, blinking. "Oh, that's right. We're suppose to get ready." She started searching for her glasses, but before she could find them, Yang handed them to her.

"Ah! Thanks!" Aebelle exclaimed, putting them on and squinting at the two girls. "What was that dream about? It was confusing..."

Ruby chuckled. "I bet it was. You were murmuring about a beautiful woman and a blinding light."

Aebelle blushed, embarrassed. "I don't even know where those images came from. It felt so real though."

Yang grinned. "Maybe the dream is telling you something, Aebelle. Maybe you're destined to meet a gorgeous, powerful woman who'll light up your life."

Aebelle, still blushing, shook her head. "Don't be silly, Yang."

The sun, a stubborn thing, finally broke through the darkness, filtering through the gap in the curtains and landing on Ren's closed eyelids. He groaned, the sound swallowed by Nora's cheerful, "Wake up, lazy butt!" before a miniature hurricane of pink and yellow dashed past him, leaving a trail of whirlwind in its wake.

Ren sat up, rubbing his eyes, and sighed as he saw Nora bouncing around the room, humming a nonsensical song about the day. "It's morning! It's morning! It's morning!" she sang, her voice full of unbridled excitement.

"Nora..." Ren groaned, "It's barely even dawn."

"Dawn? Dawn? It's morning! And it's our first day at Beacon!" she chirped, dashing off to the bathroom, leaving Ren to stumble after her

"Dawn? Dawn? It's morning! And it's our first day at Beacon!" she chirped, dashing off to the bathroom, leaving Ren to stumble after her.

The bathroom was a whirlwind of its own, with Nora chattering about the wonders of Beacon, her voice echoing off the tiled walls. "You know, I can't believe we've been here for a full twenty-four hours!" she exclaimed, splashing water on her face. "Not that I thought we'd get kicked out or anything, I mean, you're the perfect student and I'm... well, I'm me! But it's just crazy, you know?"
