Aylin pov:
I arrived at the office, my eyes scanning the room for any signs of suspicious activity. I still couldn't shake off the feeling of unease from the note.
Then Mr lee entered inside the office
Jae-hwan- good morning mrs park. How are you?? Everything okay?
Aylin- I'm fine, thanks. Just a bit tired.
Jae-hwan- you look like you could use a coffee. I'll get you one.
He went and after sometime bought my coffee, after keeping the mug on my table he started checking on his tablet
Jae-hwan- mrs park, you have a meeting with the marketing team at 10 am. And Mr park wants to see you in his office at 11 am.
Again what the hell is his problem
Aylin- okay!

My phone buzzed on my desk, displaying Jimin's name for the third time. I felt a surge of frustration and anger.
On the call
Jimin- angel, where are you?
Aylin- I'm at the office, Jimin. I have a meeting with the marketing team in 10 minutes
Jimin- I need to see you now. Come to my office at Park Industries
Aylin- are you mad didn't you listen what I said right now!!! And also your office is 30 minutes away from here. I have work to do. Can't it wait?
Jimin- no, it can't wait. I'll send a car for you. Come with Joseph and be here in 20 minutes
I seethed with frustration. Why did Jimin always do this? Couldn't he respect my time and schedule? I felt like I was being summoned like a servant.
With a deep breath, I stood up and grabbed my bag. I would go to his office, but I wouldn't go quietly
As I walked out of the office with Joseph and Mr lee, I couldn't help but wonder why Jimin was being so demanding. What was so urgent that he needed to see me immediately?
Aylin- reschedule my meeting with the marketing team for this afternoon
I instructed Mr lee as they walked to the car.
Jae-hwan- Yes, mrs park
He replied, typing away on his phone.
Joseph- mam, is everything okay? You seem upset
Aylin- jimin's being his usual controlling self. I don't know what's got him so worked up this time
Joseph- we'll get through this, mam. Just remember, you're in control
I smiled wryly. If only that were true. As we all drove to Park Industries, my mind raced with possibilities.
What did Jimin want to discuss?
When we arrived at Jimin's office, I was greeted by his secretary.
Hyung-sik- Mr park is waiting for you.
I enetered inside his office
Jimin stood behind his desk, his arms crossed and a scowl on his face.
Jimin- angel, thanks for coming. I know you're busy
Aylin- What's this about? You know I have work to do
Jimin- this is about the note you found yesterday. I know you're trying to investigate on your own, but I won't let that happen.
How did he know about this?
Aylin- What do you mean?
Jimin- I know you must be thinking that how I know about this! You know it's my home too and I handle every cctv camera and security, and I won't let you put yourself in danger
Aylin- I don't need your protection, Jimin. I can take care of myself
Jimin- iam not saying that I want to protect you!! If you put yourself in danger then it will also lead me and my family in danger and I can't take risk
My eyes were welled up with tears, but I controlled myself
Aylin- this is why you called me and because of you I rescheduled my meeting, I don't think so it's important!!
Jimin- you think it's not important, it is angel
I didn't speak further and left from there
As I walked back to my office, I couldn't shake off the feeling that something was off. Why is he behaving like this?
Well i shouldn't feel off
I turned to Joseph, who was following closely behind.
Aylin- joseph, can I ask you something?
Joseph- Of course, mam
Aylin- you're Jimin's bodyguard, but you're always with me. Why is that?
His expression turned neutral, and he didn't respond.
Aylin- and another thing, why does Jimin always carry a gun with him? Is he afraid of someone?
Joseph's eyes flickered, and he looked away, clearly avoiding my question.
My mind was racing. What was Jimin hiding? And why was Joseph being so secretive?
Jimin pov:
When she left from my office I felt a guilt wash over me. How can I say this much harsh words to her? But what can I do if I would say straight forwardly of course she would feel different and would avoid me.
Iam sorry angel
Unbeknownst to angel, my actions were motivated by a deep-seated desire to protect her. I had been receiving threatening letters and messages for months, warning me to stay away from angel. But I couldn't find who is the person behind all of this. He is too clever always changes sim everytime, I can't even track him.
I had taken it upon myself to ensure her safety, always carrying a gun and surrounding her with guards. I don't know what is the exact reason, why the person is behind her, what he exactly want, what is the reason that he wants to kill her.
I was in my villa office, reviewing the security footage from the villa. I had noticed a suspicious person lurking around the perimeter fence, and I wanted to make sure that angel is safe.
Suddenly Joseph entered inside my office.
Joseph- sir, I think we need to increase mam's security detail. There have been some suspicious activity around the villa
Jimin- how can someone just come and go when there is so tight security, I want her to have the best protection possible. I won't let anything happen to her
Joseph- I'll arrange for additional guards to be posted around the villa and her office
Jimin- Make sure they're the best. I want angel to be safe
He deeply cares for her, but never shows
