Chapter-25: Silent threat

Jimin pov:

I rushed into the cabin, but angel was nowhere to be found. My heart sank as I received a text from an unknown number:

"I think your wife get scared alone in the elevator."

I rushed out from the cabin and sprinted towards the elevator, my phone already in hand. I immediately dialed her number, my mind was already racing with worst-case scenarios.

Jimin- angel, where are you?!

I shouted into the phone.

Aylin- what's your problem, Jimin?

Her voice was calm, but I could sense a hint of annoyance.

Jimin- where the fuck are you?!!!

I repeated, my voice growing more loudly.

Aylin- iam in elevator!!!!!

Jimin- get out of their immediately!!

I was already on the 15th floor clicking on elevator button non stopping. And then I heard a thumping voice.

Jimin- angel.....angel you're listening???

Aylin- yeah I'm listening I think elevator is stuck!

My heart was racing. I could see the numbers ticking upwards, and I knew she was trapped inside.

Jimin- CALL THE FUCKING MECHANICS!!!!!!

I saw Joseph running towards me.

Joseph- what happened sir?

Jimin- call the mechanics right now, angel is stuck in elevator!

He went away from their while calling some mechanics. I looked at my phone and kept near my ear.

Jimin- don't cut the call!! Is everything okay inside?? Do you have claustrophobia?

Aylin- no I don't!! And it's just elevator stuck why you're shouting on everyone! Iam waiting here

Jimin- don't just cut the call!

Aylin- I said I won't! Wh-

I heard her coughing through the call. My heart racing faster than before.
Her voice changed.

Aylin- I...I think something's wrong

Jimin- what's happening?!

Aylin- I...I don't know...but there's something in the air. There's a gas coming through the side of the elevator.

Jimin- angel, listen to me....don't breath!

I heard her voice, barely audible.

Aylin- bl.....blood

I knew she had hemophobia. She was stuttering on the call.

Jimin- you're hearing me!!! Angel listen to me!!!!! Angel!!!!!!

I shouted on call. And then rushed towards Joseph I saw he was coming with mechanics.

Jimin- open it fast!!!!!

The mechanics rushed to the elevator, shouting and giving instructions to us to cover noses and mouths as the poisonous gas spread. As I already sent the staff downstairs. Joseph tried to calm me, but I was having none of it.

As the mechanics opened it they backwards from there while covering there mouth as the poisonous gas was spreading. I tried to rush inside while not even covering my mouth, suddenly Joseph grabbed my hand.
