Chapter-23: Danger

Aylin pov:

I sat at my desk, sipping my coffee and scanning the documents in front of me. I glanced up to see miss hong typing away on her computer, her brow furrowed in concentration.

Indeed she is hardworking.

Just as I was starting to focus on my work again, my phone buzzed. I saw Clara's name on the screen.

Clara
Aylin, I need to see you. I'm at your home. Please come as soon as possible

My curiosity was piqued. I quickly got up from my seat and grabbed my bag.

Aylin- joseph, let's go. I need to head home.

Joseph- is everything okay, mam?

Aylin- I'm not sure, but clara needs to see me.

As we walked out of the building, I couldn't help but wonder what she wanted. And why did she need to see me at home?

As I entered the villa, I was greeted by the sight of Clara sitting on the couch, Jungkook by her side. But it was Clara's face that caught my attention - she looked worried, her brow furrowed and her eyes red-rimmed.

Aylin- what's wrong??

I asked, rushing to her side.

Clara- I'm pregnant, Aylin.

My eyes widened in surprise, but before I could react, she continued.

Clara- I know what you're thinking. I'm thinking it too. But I've made up my mind - I won't abort, I won't do anything to harm this child.

My gaze shifted to Jungkook, who was watching the scene unfold with a mix of emotions on his face. Then, I looked back at her and opened my arms. She fell into them, tears streaming down her face.

Aylin- I'm so proud of you, you're not like other girls who would...you're strong, and brave, and selfless.

She sobbed in my embrace, her body shaking with emotion.

Aylin- don't worry, I will be by your side whenever you will need me

She nodded, her tears slowly subsiding. I smiled, feeling a sense of determination wash over me. We would get through this, together.

Aylin- well, I'm so happy for you both! You're going to be parents.

They both hugged each other in happiness realizing it.

Clara- now I've made up my mind, I will soon marry him so that after our marriage we can tell our family members too.

Aylin- that's wonderful! I'm so happy for you both. You deserve all the happiness in the world.

Just as the three of us were basking in the joy of her announcement, jimin burst inside villa, looking frazzled.

Jimin- angel, mom's surgery is today and she wants you beside her when she wakes up.

The realization hits me and i stands up, how can i forget this important thing.
Then jimin turns to clara and jungkook as he saw them.

Jimin- what's going on here?

Clara- I'm pregnant, jimin. Jungkook and I are having a baby.

Jimin- congratulations, you two! That's amazing news!

But his smile quickly turned into a scowl as he turned to Jungkook.

Jimin- you were too desperate to do it, weren't you?

Jimin said, smacking Jungkook's chest.

I felt clara feeling occurred so I took her outside as they both can come by their own.

Clara and jungkook insisted on accompanying me and Jimin to the hospital, and soon the four of us were on our way. As we arrived at the hospital.

I saw mumma already in the icu for surgery, father were standing outside. I could sense Jimin's anxiety. So I went up to him.....

Atleast iam not a devil like him.

Aylin- Everything will be fine.

After some time doctor came outside while smiling.

Doctor- the surgery was a success. She's going to be just fine.

I saw jimin and father hugging each other I felt a relief too, everything is okay now.

Wooshik- now, I think it's time for you young people to head home. I'll take care of her from here. Jimin drop jungkook and clara at their home.

Jungkook- it's okay uncle we'll go by ourself.

Clara turned to jungkook and spoke.

Clara- I'm so glad everything went well.

Jungkook- me too. Let's get some rest. We've got a lot to plan for our little one.

I hugged clara last time and then we headed outside.

As we drove away from the hospital, joseph's car followed from a distance, keeping a watchful eye on us.

I was silent in the ride thinking now I should only find the person who is behind me. I turned to see jimin, his eyes fixed on the road ahead. But as he pressed the brake pedal, his expression changed to one of alarm.

Jimin- something's wrong?

My heart skipped a beat as I felt the car surge forward, picking up speed.

Aylin- what's happening? Why aren't you stopping?

Jimin- the brakes aren't working! And the accelerator is stuck!

My eyes widened in horror as I realized the danger we were in.

I saw the car was now speeding down the highway, weaving in and out of lanes. Joseph's car was still following, but he was struggling to keep up.

Aylin- what should we do??!!!

My voice was hoarse from screaming as I yelled at Jimin.

Aylin- you can't handle this! Jump out, Jimin, now!

Jimin- you jump first, angel!

My heart was racing as I realized there was no time to argue. The car was heading straight for a concrete barrier, and we were going to crash.

I pushed Jimin with all my might.

Aylin- jump, Jimin! Now!

I saw his eyes widened in shock as he felt himself flying out of the car. He landed hard on the pavement, rolling to absorb the impact.

I watched in horror as the car hurtled towards the barrier, unable to stop. The sound of crunching metal and shattering glass filled the air as the car crashed, sending debris flying everywhere.

My world went dark as the airbag deployed, knocking the wind out of me.
