Aylin pov:
As mrs kang brought the soup in room, i took it from her and then she went away. I brought the spoon to my lips, ready to take a sip of the warm soup. But just as I was about to drink, Jimin suddenly appeared and knocked the bowl out of my hands. The soup splattered everywhere, and I jumped back, startled and angry.
Aylin- what the hell?!!!!
But Jimin didn't even look at me. He rushed downstairs, his face set in a determined expression. His face showing how much angry he is I followed him to look what's happening.
I saw from upstairs the he confronted mrs kang his voice low. I can barely listen what he was was saying.
Jimin- what did you add to the soup?
I saw mrs kang's eyes widened, and she took a step back.
Mrs kang- I-I don't know what you're talking about
Jimin- then what's this??
He said, his phone in hand.
Jimin- you added something to the soup. Tell me what it was.
Mrs kang's face crumpled, and she began to sob.
Mrs kang- s-someone said me to d-do this
Jimin's expression turned cold.
Jimin- you were trying to poison her!!
he said, his voice dripping with disgust.
Jimin- tell me who said you to do this!!!!
I heard him shouting, his anger was showing in his face, I watched in shock as he called the police and had Mrs kang arrested. I couldn't believe what was happening.
After sometime the police took Mrs kang away, I turned away while sobbing.
Aylin- that...that person also send his workers here too...wh....who the hell he is!!
My mind raced as I tried to make sense of the events. Who could be behind this? I thought about the maid, Mrs kang, and how Jimin had caught her trying to poison me. It was all too much to process.
As I went inside bedroom, I drifted off to sleep, my thoughts were filled with questions and fears. But my rest was short-lived, as I was soon jolted awake by the smell of something burning.
Aylin- now what's happening again!!?
I rushed downstairs, my heart racing, but then I found Jimin standing alone in the kitchen. The air was thick with smoke, and my eyes scanned the room frantically.
Aylin- where are the other maids?
I asked him, my voice shaking slightly.
He turned to me, his expression grim.
Jimin- I fired them all, I don't know who else might be working against us. We can't trust anyone right now.
I felt different around him now. I don't know he is doing this all because of our contract or genuinely, but atleast he is doing.
Jimin- should I hire maids?
Aylin- it depends on you, well I can do my work by myself.
Jimin- I'll hire only few maids, and I'll make sure they're thoroughly background-checked.
I was standing near the kitchen counter as I watched him continued to burn the remaining food, his movements swift and efficient. I couldn't help but chuckle at the sight.
Being so arrogant everytime, and can't even make proper good.
But when he caught my eye, I quickly composed myself, erasing the smile from my face.
Aylin- give me! I'll make something else.
I said, trying to sound nonchalant.
His expression softened, and he shook his head.
Jimin- No, you will not cook. You're still recovering. And I can cook, you just sit and wait.
As I looked into his eyes, I saw a gentle determination there, and I knew he wouldn't budge.
With a sigh, I nodded and sat down at the kitchen table, watching him expertly whipped up a simple but delicious meal.
Just now he burned the food and now this.
I couldn't help but feel a warmth in my heart at his caring gestures.
What is happening to me, what's this feeling? No, I think it's just because if someone is sick everyone do care for a sick person hmm
Jimin pov:
I said her to sit and wait for me. I was scared would I be able to make good food. I know that iam not a good cook but I don't want to get embarrassed in front of her.
I tried again and this time it came out good one. After sometime I served the food with a serious expression, my eyes fixed on her as she took a bite. He watched intently, waiting for her reaction.
I leaned to her face, being a little far.
Jimin- how's it??
As she chewed, her face lit up with a bright smile, and she gave me a thumbs up. My heart skipped a beat - it was the first time I had seen her smiling at me like that.
For a moment, I felt a flutter in my chest, and I wondered if she was finally starting to see him in a different light.
Do I like her? No, I can't it's just she's sick that's it!! Nothing else
I quickly shrugged off the thought.
Jimin- no, it's just a smile, she's just being polite.
Aylin- did you said something?
I looked at her with my wide eyes.
Did I said this out loud.
Jimin- no, I didn't
But as I looked into her eyes, I saw something there that gave me pause. A spark of warmth, a glimmer of connection.
My serious face faltered for a moment, and I felt a small smile creep onto my lips.
She was still smiling, didn't seem to notice me momentary lapse. She took another bite, savoring the flavors, and I couldn't help but watch her, my eyes drawn to her radiant smile.
I never had any weakness or addiction. now I have both.
After she had her dinner I took the plates to wash up, but she didn't gave me.
Aylin- I can do my work by myself.
She raised her eyebrows and headed towards the kitchen sink. I waited for her to come out while scrolling on my phone, thinking about the incident which happened today. Then suddenly she came.
Aylin- you're still here?
Jimin- let's go to room.
She blinked at me twice and then went first, I followed behind her and when we both enter inside the room I spoke.
Jimin- you can sleep on bed. As you're still recovering so it will be better.
She didn't spoke and just went and laid down on bed while closing the lights. I went there and placed myself beside her and drifted to sleep.
Finally they both are having there beautiful time, except arguing!
