Theo's pov
This morning I woke up thinking about the girl from yesterday. She seemed like someone I knew but I don't know who. My thoughts change to Luna, it's been three years since she left and I just hope she is ok wherever she went. Without even realizing it I miss her. After a while I started looking for her since she left but it's like she is nowhere to be found which is understandable after all that has happen here
Believe it or not, she was the second person to make me soften up and not act like a cold-hearted monster. Finally, I got up, dressed in a black shirt, black ripped jeans, and boots, then headed downstairs to meet up with Elijah.
We ate our breakfast in silence, as we did most days now. When we finished, we put our dishes in the sink and walked to the garage, deciding to take the motorcycles since it was going to be a nice day. We pulled on our helmets, revved the engines, and rode out of the garage and down the long driveway.
We were speeding through the streets when we stopped at a red light. Another person on a motorcycle pulled up beside us. They glanced at us and then back at the road. Elijah revved his engine, hinting at a race, and the other person nodded. When the light turned green, we all raced down the street. I was in the lead at first, but the unknown rider quickly passed me. Damn, they're fast. I stayed right on their tail and saw them turn into the school. I don't remember anyone else riding a motorcycle to school. Who the hell is this person?
As we parked our motorcycles next to the unknown rider who had taken my usual spot, we saw them take off their helmet. Holy crap, it was the girl from the store yesterday. She turned towards us, smiled, and ran her hand through her platinum blonde hair. I have to admit, she looked super hot. She started walking into the school but stopped to chat with some guys, making them blush. After finishing her conversation, she disappeared into the building.
As Elijah and I walked into school and headed for our lockers, I saw the new girl go to Luna's old locker, which had remained untouched since she left. I guess I have to come to terms with letting Luna go because I won't be seeing her again. When we reached our lockers, I glanced down the hallway to watch the new girl. While talking to Elijah, I said, "Remember I told you I bumped into a girl yesterday? Well, that's her," nodding in her direction.
He just looked at her, analyzing her, and finally said, "If her hair were darker blonde, she'd look like Luna if you look closely." I looked at the girl and saw what Elijah meant. She did resemble Luna, but her personality didn't match up. Why would Luna come back after all this time when she was finally free?
Luna's pov
I was at my old locker, putting my stuff away, when the locker next to mine opened. I saw the one person I was most excited to see again. After getting all my textbooks out, I closed my locker and turned to the girl next to me. "Hey, Sara," I said.
She turned towards me with a confused look on her face. "Um, hi. Do I know you or something?" She looked so different. I could see that she had lost some of her spark, but there was still happiness in her eyes. Not wanting anyone to overhear us, I grabbed her arm and brought her to an empty room before she could resist.
She looked at me angrily, on guard, and said, "What the hell is wrong with you? Let me out of this room, or so help me, I will kick your ass." Yep, she was mad.
"Sara, please be quiet. I'm not here to hurt you; I just want to talk," I said, not wanting people to know that I was back. Sara was like a sister to me, and I owed her a lot.
"Who the hell are you? Don't tell me to be quiet, bitch," she snapped.
I rolled my eyes. Why does she always have to be so complicated and such a drama queen?
