Mission Creek. A small town in the Silicon Valley.
The new location of the teen girl who traveled by herself for the first time.
The girl was quiet, minding her own business. She just wanted to get out of the airport as soon as possible, crowds had always made her nervous. Let alone being in an unfamiliar area. But she knew she was going to be okay.
Her name was Reidan. Reidan Kennedy-Nowak. The young girl was the daughter of Rachel Kennedy and Chris Nowak, the founders of Kennedy-Nowak Industries. A company that was well known in the East Coast to be exact. More importantly, one of the many other tech companies with ties to the government and the U.S Army. Since she was a little girl she was constantly surrounded by technology, so much so that she grew a passion for it— with many other things.
The girl pulled her heavy suitcase around the airport until she found the people she was looking for, her head kept turning in hopes to find them as soon as she possibly could— she was growing anxious. After all, a 14 year old girl traveling by herself was already insane as it is in her mind. Her heart thumped as it numbed her ears to the loud airport sounds, turning her head around constantly to make sure she didn't accidentally pass her guardians.
She turned her head towards the front doors of the airport, she recognized two familiar faces. Standing there with open arms, easing the mind of the young girl. She hurled her suitcase a bit faster when she finally noticed them, her lips stretching into a wide grin as she picked up her pace a bit more.
When the sliding glass doors opened, the two people— a man and a woman— opened their arms to greet her, Reidan followed up with their greeting by hugging the two of them back. Immediately feeling comfort in their warm embrace.
"Hey Ray Ray!" The woman exclaimed.
Her Aunt Bethany. She was a very funny and bubbly woman who had a lot of charisma, similarly to Reidan's mother— her sister. Reidan pulled out of the embrace and looked at the two of them with a warm smile. Up next was her Uncle Anthony, he patted her on the shoulder and smiled greatly.
"Reidan! How are you doing?" He asked her with a warm grin. Reidan chuckled a bit, her smile not seeming to disappear.
"H-hey! Yeah, I'm doing good!" She said. Her aunt and uncle wrapped their arms around each other and looked at her, gesturing her towards the car.
"Come on! Keira's probably going to be very eager to see you," Anthony said. He opened up the car door for her and she got in the back drivers side, he took her suitcase and quickly threw it in the backseat with her. She relaxed her shoulders a bit, leaning back into the black cloth seat of the car. Just then, Bethany and Tony got in their respective seats and started to drive out of the airport.
