The weekend came at the Kennedy household, it was early fall as well. The leaves on the trees rustled in the early autumn wind, changing colors as well, red, orange, yellow, and brown, speckled the driveway beautifully.
Reidan was in her room, playing video games like usual— to her, this was just a typical weekend, it was too cold to do anything outside and too boring in the house to stay inside.
Keira was in her room, trying on clothes she got at the mall, she was checking herself out in the mirror and smiled greatly— she loved the outfit she picked for herself. She sat down at her dresser and looked herself in the mirror for a moment.
Bethany and Anthony were currently downstairs, watching the Mission Creek State vs. Mission Creek Tech game, 'twas the season after all.
Keira opened the door to Reidan's room to see her cousin doing her usual weekend routine, playing video games— she leaned over the door and waited for her cousin to notice her.
Reidan was playing a really hard level by the looks of it, trying to stop a Nuclonium bomb from going off like during Adam, Bree, and Chase's mission. Feeling Keira's prescience in the room, she turned around to face her. Prompting her to pause the game.
"Oh, hey what's up?" She asked her cousin. Keira pursed her lips and sat on her bed with her.
"Nothing really, I'm just bored. It's the weekend and there's literally nothing to do," she groaned, lying down sideways. Reidan chuckled and looked down at her amusingly.
"Mom and dad are watching the football game today, I asked the cheer team if they wanted to do anything, but I got nothing. So in the meantime I guess I could just watch you play video games for the entire day..." she threw her head back, Reidan chortled and put down her controller.
"Why don't we ask what Leo and the Davenports are doing? We can go to the fall festival!" She exclaimed excitedly.
Reidan had never lived in a small town before, Centium City had their fair share of events and festivals going on for the holidays, but she never knew what going to a small town festival was like— she heard it was a delight.
Keira thinned her lips out and shrugged at her cousin.
"Okay... yeah! That sounds like a plan, you wanna text the Davenports and see what they're up to in the group chat?" She asked her cousin. Reidan immediately grabbed her phone and opened it to the chat log, Keira walked out of her room and into her own.
