Ochako started by cleaning her house, it was pretty clean already, but she wanted it to be spotless for Deku. She went to her closet, looking through it for something nice, she really didn't have many of her nice clothes from before she got pregnant.  She had sold most of her things when she found out she was going to have Kaz, and her counselling career didn't pay nearly as well as when she was a pro hero. She put on the pink dress she had worn the night Kaz was conceived, she had held onto that one. She smiled a little when she pulled it on and it fit. It was even a little loose. She smiled at herself in the mirror before putting on some makeup and running a brush through her hair. She knew Deku probably had no interest in her, especially after what she did, but she still wanted to look nice for him. She had only worn oversized clothes in years. She made Kaz a nice breakfast, and called his preschool to tell them he wasn't going to be there and calling her center to say she wouldn't be coming in either, probably for a few days. She sighed, smiling as her son woke up, giving him his pancakes and milk. She ate her own breakfast and sighed.
"Hey sweetie. We're going to have a guest this week."

"Are grandma and grandpa coming this week?"
"No actually.. Uh.. Deku is going to be staying with us."
"Deku is coming?" Kaz beamed "really? Why? Does he have a mission here?"
"No.. he's coming to meet you."
"Really? I hope I didn't worry him last night. I just had a little nightmare and I didn't want to bother you so I called him."
"You called him?"

"Yeah. I called him!"

Ochako sighed, so that was how Deku found out.. "Well, Kaz.. I uh.. I have been lying. Deku is your father. He's coming to meet you."

Kaz frowned, "But I thought that Froppy was my daddy."
Ochako spit out her tea and laughed  "No. Froppy is not your father. Why did you think that sweetie?"
"She has green hair, and I see lots of pictures of you together. I also like the taste of bugs."
Ochako frowned "You've been eating bugs?"
"Sometimes."
Ochako sighed "Okay." she kissed his head, "I don't know when Deku is going to get here though, so how about some cartoons!"

"When Deku gets here is he going to be mad he missed donuts for dads day?"

"I don't think he'll fault you for anything. "

He nodded his head "Does Deku like cartoons?"

Ochako smiled at the ground "He loves them. We used to watch cartoons together all the time."
"I hope he likes me!"

"He's going to love you."

"Promise?"
"I promise. Deku loves everyone."

Kaz nodded his head, he was nervous, he had never had a daddy before. What if he was the scary kind of daddy who yelled and made you go to bed without dessert? Deku seemed nice, but he also beat people up for a living. What if he was like the husbands of one of those ladies who his mommy counselled? Surely there was a reason she kept Deku away from him.. What if Deku was a monster? He was going to change things. He liked his life the way it was. Maybe he shouldn't have called him.

Deku sighed as he heard Katsuki coming down the hall, he ran to him, wrapping his arms around him and curling against his shoulder with a whimper.

"I'm sorry, Izuku. I'm so sorry. I thought you knew. Ochako said you decided it was best for the baby's safety that you stay out of the picture for now."
Deku frowned at that "The baby's safety? D-do you think that it would hurt him if I was with him?" It would break his heart to be away from his son, but if it was the safe thing to do, he would do it. He would do anything to keep his son safe.

"I-I don't know Deku. I think, if you plan to be with that kid pretty much all the time, or maybe, make sure he has protection."
Deku nodded, he could do that, right? He needed to.

"I-I have to go meet him. I'm going tomorrow. I already told Ochako. I'm going for a week."
Katsuki nodded "I'll take care of things here."
"I know." Deku sighed "Th-thank you Kacchan. I-I'm hoping I'll convince Ochako to move back here."
Katsuki frowned, he wasn't sure if that was a good idea, if the kid was hidden, maybe it was best they stayed hidden. He didn't want Deku's kid getting hurt.

"I just want.. If I have a family, I need them to be close. I need to be able to get to them fast."
Katsuki nodded "So you and Ochako."
"I-I'm hoping to fix things.. It would be nice if all three of us could be a family."

"After what she did?"
Deku nodded "Yeah. I love her, Kacchan, and I want my son to grow up with his family in tact."
Katsuki sighed, this was between Deku and Ochako. He needed to keep his nose out of it.

"You're going to be a great dad, Deku." He sighed, "I know you will."
Deku nodded, "Thank you Kacchan." he whimpered

"Go home, get some sleep and go meet your kid. I've got this."
Deku nodded sadly, "Thank you." He hugged Katsuki and went back to his house. Walking through it with a sigh, it was big enough for Ochako and his little boy. They could be happy here. He would be happy. He would be a good father. He had to be. Or else Ochako would be right to have done what she did. Deku sighed, he took a nap before waking up and putting his hero costume on, kids loved the hero costume, and Ochako would like whatever would make their son happy. Deku smiled at the floor. He looked at himself in the mirror and sighed, he was going to meet his son. His three year old son. He should buy him a toy, but he didn't know what he liked. Well if he didn't like Allmight Deku might need to ask for a dna test. He sighed, texting Ochako.
{Uraraka} Who's his favorite hero?
{Dekukun} It's you. But Tsu is a close second he also really likes Bakugo.

Deku nodded, buying some toys of himself Tsu Bakugo and he brought his Ochako figurine he had kept in mint condition, he should probably throw the one he hadn't away before they got to Musutafu. He hadn't seen much merch of her since she moved away. He supposed it was admirable that she had chosen to focus on her child, but now he was coming home, and maybe she could pick up where she had left off. He sighed, getting himself to Kyoto as quickly as he could. He sat in the car for a while, staring blankly forward as he tried to think of how to introduce himself to his kid. It was a big deal. He had missed three years, his son had every right to hate him. He looked at the ground with a sigh. He got out of his car, and letting him into Ochako's house so he wouldn't be recognized, ducking as a vase hit the wall behind him. Ochako glared at him.

"What the fuck Deku? You scared the shit out of me!"
"Sorry! I just didn't want anyone to see me before I-"
"Not wearing your hero costume would help you stay hidden!"

"I thought Kaz would like it."
"he will." Ochako sighed, looking at her toes "I'm sorry.. I'm just so nervous."

"It's okay." Deku sighed, "C-Can I see him?"
Ochako nodded awkwardly, "he's in the living room watching cartoons."
Deku smiled and nodded, holding his arms out to hug Ochako. Ochako hesitated, but she wrapped her arms around him and hugged him gently, he hugged her back.
"I love you Uraraka. I love you so much."

"I love you too Dekukun. I'm sorry. I really really am."
he sighed, kissing her forehead "do you think you and I could ever.."

"Let's see how this week goes. I just.. I'm a mom now."
"Yes. You are the mother of my child." Deku sighed, "All the more reason to-"
"I just need to see how this week goes before I make any promises."
Deku nodded "I understand." though he was a little hurt.

Ochako sighed "I'll go get your bags. Kaz is watching cartoons, I think he's a little nervous, so don't get too upset if he cries."

Deku sighed "I understand. I'm a strange man in his home. The fact that I'm his father has no bearing on that nervousness."
Ochako nodded "okay."
Deku sighed, she was the most beautiful woman he had ever seen, she hadn't aged a day. He watched her go to get his things from his car and unlocked it for her. Walking down the hallway, following the sound of the tv. He looked at the pictures on the wall, pictures of ultrasounds he should have been present for, a pictures of a baby he never got to hold.. He knew it wasn't something that could be helped, but seeing it broke his heart. His baby boy was three years old! He had missed his first words, his first steps! He sighed as he got to the end of the hallway and saw a familiar mop of green hair, looking at his feet and trying to decide what to say.
