Deku and Ochako sat on the couch together, Deku sighed, rubbing her side and smiling sadly. This could have been his life for the past four years. This should have been his life for the past four years. He should have been coming home to Uraraka. He should have been coming home to his son! He felt like he had been robbed, but he also felt like he should just appreciate that he was getting it now. But he had missed every ultrasound, he had missed Kaz's first breath, in fact he had missed most of Kaz's firsts and it was devastating.
"I love you Uraraka." He murmured
"I love you too." She replied softly

Deku huffed, looking at her and than at his knees, there was no way for this to be fixed.

"Do you have pictures of him?"

She nodded, "Do you want to see my albums?"
Deku nodded "Please. I-I missed so much, and I just.." he felt himself begin to cry again

Ochako hugged him, "I'm sorry. I really am."
Deku nodded, but it didn't matter that she was sorry, he couldn't get back the time he had lost.

Ochako went and got her photo albums, a sad smile came to Deku's lips as he looked at them, there were so many. Ochako opened the first page, her first ultrasound. Deku smiled at it sadly,

"What does the button in the corner do?"
Ochako hit it and Deku felt tears in his eyes as he heard the baby's heartbeat and a projection of the ultrasound played.

"Do you have one of those for all of them."
"I do." She smiled at him, kissing his cheek gently. "I also have videos of his first word his first steps.. I have a video of his birth somewhere I think."

Deku nodded "I want to see all of it." He murmured

Ochako nodded her head "Okay. We need to wait until tonight to watch his birth video."

Deku nodded "Okay."

Ochako smiled weakly when she heard Kaz's feet coming down the hall.

"Hey buddy! Did you have a good nap?"

Kaz nodded, climbing into Ochako's lap "I was showing your daddy some pictures of you!"
"Oh. I hate having pictures taken."
Deku frowned "Well, that's too bad, because, I really like all of these pictures."
"Mommy likes them too. I just don't."
Deku nodded, hugging his child close "What do you wanna do, buddy? We can watch a movie together, or, your mommy used to like to bake maybe we could make something together?"

Deku hoped that Kaz wouldn't ask to go anywhere.. He really just wanted a day in this bubble before he went in public and had to address everything.

Ochako smiled "I can go get the stuff to make some cookies if you want." She was a little scared to leave Deku alone with his son, she knew he was capable, and that he wouldn't hurt any child, especially not Kaz. Deku saw her hesitated and looked at his knees, she might as well have punched him in the gut, but he also understood, Ochako probably didn't trust anyone with her kid, and he wasn't a dad.. Kaz might get anxious alone with a stranger. It made sense.

"Why don't we all go together?"
"Are you sure Dekukun I can-"
"N-No. We can all go together." Deku sighed, it would suck, but he would have to deal with it eventually.
"You can stay here, look at the albums while Kaz and I go to the store."
"No. I want to go."
Ochako nodded, "Kaz, do you need to go potty?"
Kaz shook his head, Ochako nodded, taking him to put him in the car seat

Deku followed her out and sighed, he wore a disguise, hopefully he wouldn't be recognized, he was holding a baby that was biologically his, which was something very few people knew he had, so maybe he wouldn't have any problems. He huffed, getting in the car with Ochako and kissing her softly.
"Maybe we should stop by work."
"Why?"
"Well, sometimes we put disguises on our clients. Sometimes villains who are looking for redemption have a target on their backs.
Deku nodded his head "O-okay." her employees were trained in discretion, no doubt, so he didn't have to worry.. Ochako, drove them to her work, leading him inside with a sigh. Deku smiled weakly as one of her coworkers came to Ochako and Kaz ran to him "Haru! Haru! I met my daddy! I met my daddy for real!"
