[4 years later]

"I'm hoooome," I announce as soon as I step into the house.

"Daddy!" The twins quickly leave their toys on the table and run towards me.

I kneel so they can properly hug me. Both of them throw themselves on me and I wrap my arms around them, earning a giggle from Julie and a very fake choking noise from Sam.

"I can't breathe!" Sam says, making a fake choking noise.

I let go of Sam with a chuckle and watch as he dramatically takes deep breaths while Julie keeps her arms around my neck in a hug.

"You're a dramatic kid," I say.

"Mommy said I take that from you," he says, proudly.

She's not wrong.

"Speaking of your mom," I say, standing up while picking up Julie in my arms, "where is she?"

"She's talking to grandma on the phone," Julie says.

"Oh, okay. Well, excuse me, my children, I have to go see your mother," I kiss Julie's cheeks, earning another guggle before I put her down.

The twins run back to play with their toys and I rush upstairs to meet my beautiful wife.

I find her in our bedroom, phone pressed between her ear and shoulder as she folds clothes.

"Yes, we remember, mom. We will be there at 6." She says on the phone, hums, "Okay, talk to you later. Take care.... bye,"

She hangs up and places the phone on the bed just when I stand behind her.

I loudly clear my throat making her jump and whirl around, hand pressed to her chest.

"Geez," she breathes out, I grin, "stop scaring me like that,"

"I only did it once before," I say.

"And once before that,"

"Oh, right,"

She chuckles then places her arms around me, leaning in and capturing my lips in a kiss.

My arms wrap around my waist as I flush our bodies together and return the kiss, feeling her smile through it.

"I missed you," she mutters as we break the kiss.

"I missed you too, genius. No one at the restaurant glares at me."

She rolls her eyes, her lips forming a smile, "no one should. Only I'm allowed to do that,"

"Of course, genius." I say against her lips before I kiss her again.

Our kiss breaks when we hear a familiar gagging noise.

"Stop making that sound!" Julie says, pouting at Sam as she and Sam peek inside our room.

"Kissing is ew," he says and gags, earning a hit on his shoulder from Julie.

"What are you two doing?" Sophia asks, pulling away from me but I keep an arm around her waist.

Julie and Sam freeze, realizing they got caught.

"We got caught because of you!" Julie whisper-yells.

"No, it's because of you," he says then turns his face away from Julie.

"Sam said to spy on you two!" Julie points at Sam.
