Here's a question for you. What do kids need more? A father or a dad? What's the difference?

The way I see it, darn near anyone can be a father, but not everyone has the patience of the devotion to be a dad.

As for me, I've always wanted to be a dad. Let me tell you, I love it!

And I love my Ford Flex. It treats me to a smooth ride, and you know what? It didn't break the bank. Room enough for the whole family.

Yes, I love being a dad. And I love these three adorable little rays of sunshine....

Okay. I'm not their real dad. I'm their stepdad. I actually can't father my own children, ever since I hit a little snafu at a dental office. And I thought I'd never have a family.

Until I met a stunning Mom named Sara. I am one lucky so-and-so. I hit the jackpot.

Now let me tell you about my three amazing children.

Megan, the youngest. So cute. She used to draw these pictures of me dying which were a little....concerning at first. She doesn't do that anymore which I guess means she likes me?

Dylan. The little man of the house! We have a good relationship and was actually a little more receptive of me entering the household. He would just ignore me and give me the attitude of a teenager. When he realised I was staying, he started to treat me like an actual family member.

Then there's Rosie.

The 13 year old was......she.....she just doesn't like me. From the get go, she was mean, she was angry and was just not the nicest. I had to learn the hard way no to call her RJ - I still have the marks on my hand where the fork pierced my skin.

Our relationship is still very rocky but she doesn't throw stuff as much anymore so I am taking that as progress.

Well that's all you really need to know right now. That's my new family.
