Rosie POV:

Oh, hello. Been a while.

Welcome back to the life of me, Rosie-Jane Mayron. Rosie to you. Still never RJ or Rosie-Jane. RJ is for a very few people and Rosie-Jane makes me sound like either a posh, rich girl or an old person. So, Rosie.

Not much has changed since you left. Dad and Brad's bond has only gotten stronger and they are very, very close. It gets a little weird at times and I have to remind them to be normal sometimes but at least they aren't fighting.

They split everything between themselves when it comes to us. You know, how much time we spend at their houses and other dad responsibilities. It gets a little annoying at times cause we (meaning me) are always leaving stuff at one of their houses that we need when at the others.

To sum it up, it's pretty great.

Right now, it's Megan and Dylan's Christmas show. We (me, Megan, Dylan, Griffy, Brad and Mum) are walking down the school hall when we see Dad, Karen and Adrianna. Megan and Dylan run to them with the rest of us following.

"Hey! Hey, guys." Dad says, giving them both a hug.

"Wow, look how sexy Karen looks. Leather pants and side boob. That's perfect for a school function." Mum says looking at Karen. She's like that alot around Karen. I can't tell if she just hates her or is a little pissy dad actually moved on.

"Mum, sounding a lot like the 1950's right there Mum." I tell her. She just looks at me weirdly before putting a smile on her face as we reach the others.

"Hey." We all say together. I hug Dad and as he lets me go, he looks at my outfit.

"Do up your cardigan baby." Dad says to me, pulling a face at my shirt. Omg, my parents must have time travelled from the 1950's cause they must think all women must wear turtle necks or some shit. When I don't move, he starts doing it for me.

"Really?" I ask him.

"Keep it like that, or I'll give you my coat." He orders as he finishes doing my buttons up. I nod before he turns and we all start walking together. He must feel very accomplished doing that.

As I follow, I slowly undo the buttons and try to restore my outfit to its former glory. Glancing to my right, I see Megan rolling her shirt up.

"What are you doing?" I ask her. She stops what she's doing and looks down with a guilty look on her face.

"I want my shirt like yours and Adrianna's." She mumbles. "Are you gonna tell Mummy and Daddy?" She asks, looking up at me with puppy dog eyes. Damn it, why did I teach her that?

Ah screw it. I feel like pissing off my parents. I crouch down in front of her and tie her shirt a little above her skirt. Not too far cause she is still my baby sister but enough so it will for sure shock our parents.

"There you go. What's the rule when I help you do this sort of stuff?" I question her.

"Don't tell them you helped me otherwise you won't help me again." She says smiling. We high five before rushing to catch up with our family. I love creating a mini me.

Meg and Dyl go backstage with all the other kids whilst the rest of us get our seats. I somehow got stuck sitting between Dad and Brad. How'd I draw the short straw? After a few minutes, the principle comes on stage.

"Welcome to the One Horse Open Sing! Before we get started, notice we have several professional video and still photographers to cover all your kids for free. So you can all put your phones in your pockets, relax and just be in the moment." As she finishes her speech, just about everyone in the audience pulls out their phone (except Brad who brought his iPad for some reason) and aims them at the stage. "You don't care." The Principle sighs before walking off stage.

The curtain goes up and all the kids start singing. I look for Megan and Dylan and give them both a thumbs up. Glancing to my right, I see Mum signalling for Megan to put her shirt down. Worth it.

Later in the show, the kids are saying what Christmas means to them and now it's Megan's turn. She goes onto the middle of the stage and we all take our phones out to film this cute moment. It will be.....right?

"My name is Megan Mayron, and I like Christmas presents a lot." She says, causing everyone to chuckle. "But I don't really like Christmas. My daddy was at my first Christmases, but I don't remember those ones. Then we had some with no Daddy at all. Then Brad came, but he was always trying way too hard and making everyone feel uncomfortable. On our first Christmas, he accidently called my sister RJ and she threw a fork at him and it landed in his hand. That was quite funny. Then Daddy came back, and Brad did a pretend Christmas. Me and my brother and my sister wish we were like other families and we had normal Christmases. But we still like our Christmas presents. I want to be very clear about that. Thank you very much." She walks off stage as we all just sit in awkward silence. Everyone else in the crowd look at each other awkwardly whilst my parents look at me.

Great. I can already sense the uncomfortable conversation we are gonna have later.

"Enjoy paying for therapy, boys!" Jerry from the dance shouts to us. I turn to face him before any of my family could respond.

"Shut your mouth Jerry before I break your nose like I did you daughters!" I semi-yell at him.

"Yep. Sure." He says scared.

Oooooooooh what a lovely evening this has turned out to be.
