Outfit:
We are now at the basketball game that Brad got tickets for. I actually quite like basketball so it should be fun.
My new rottie puppy is currently at home in the very large cage that Brad got him. I think he knew I wouldn't let him in if it was any smaller. I think I'm gonna call him Rocko. Rocko the Rottie.
We are all walking down the steps trying to find our seats with Brad's arms full of candy.
"You guys got enough candy?" He asks us.
"Yeah." We tell him.
"Remember, you can have anything you want, because it's Christmas!" Brad cheers excitedly.
"No it's not but I ain't complaining." I say. I figured, the nicer I am and the more I play into this whole Christmas in April thing he is doing, the less likely Mum is to take the puppy away.
"Here we are. Pretty good seats right?" Brad stops at a row of seats which are really close to the court. Wow. "Sara you first, then Rosie. Megan, sit by your sister. Perfect. Dylan, you sit right next to me. And, Dusty, I'm sorry. I could only get five in a row. I couldn't get six. So you're across the aisle next to that gentleman." Dad says pointing dad to a guy in a USA flag vest. Hmm, he seems nice. But he should have this time with Meg and Dyl. I've had loads of memories with him so they deserve some too.
"Dad, you take my seat." I say, standing back up.
"No baby. It's ok. I'll be right here." Dad says sitting down. I sit down too and turn back to the game just starting. I can't tell if Brad's plan is evil genius or too petty. I mean, he's trying to piss dad off. Succeeded but that doesn't mean we are gonna love him more than our dad. He's our dad at the end of the day.
"Look, there's Kobe! It's him! He's right there!" Dylan yells excitedly when he sees his favourite player. "Thank you Brad, this is the best present I've ever gotten." Dylan says while hugging Brad.
"You are so welcome. I'm glad to hear it's the best present you've ever got!" Brad hugs him back and speaks loud enough for Dad to hear. What a moron. Mum leans over me to ask Brad a question.
"How much did these seats cost?" Hmm, I wouldn't mind knowing that either.
"Not too much." He replies, shaking his head. Ok, that means he spent way too much.
The announcer starts speaking about the kids from Hearts of Courage when someone stops and stares at Dad.
"Dusty! Dusty Mayron!" The guy says excitedly walking up to him.
"Marco? Hey!" Dad says pulling him in for that bro hug thing guys do. "What's up man? Are you coaching now?" Dad asks him.
"Yeah, I'm the new strength and conditioning coach." The guy, Marco I guess, says to dad smiling.
