Author POV

Two weeks had passed since Jeedarh's emotional encounter with Ashraf. Today marked a special day - her birthday.

She woke up expecting her friends and Ashraf to wish her a happy birthday, but to her surprise, no one showed her any attention.

As Jeedarh sat in class, trying to focus on the lecturer's words, her phone buzzed in her bag. She discreetly pulled it out, seeing a video call from her siblings, Abubakar and Walida. She smiled, wondering why they were calling her during class.

"Hey, sis! Happy birthday!" Abubakar and Walida chimed in unison, their faces beaming with excitement on the screen.

Jeedarh's eyes widened in surprise, feeling a warmth in her heart. "Guys, I'm in class right now...but thank you so much!"

Walida spoke up, "We know, we know, but we couldn't wait to wish you a happy birthday! You deserve all the love and happiness today!"

Abubakar added, "Yeah, and we got you a gift! We'll send it to you later."

Jeedarh smiled, feeling grateful for her thoughtful siblings. "Thanks, guys. That means a lot to me. I'll talk to you later, okay?"

"Okay, sis! Have a wonderful birthday, and we love you!" they said in unison before ending the call.

Jeedarh returned her phone to her bag, feeling a little brighter and more special on her birthday. She tried to focus on the class again, but her mind wandered, thinking about her siblings' sweet gesture .

She went about her day as usual, attending classes and returning home late around 8 pm. Her friends had already left, and the house was dark and quiet.

As she entered the sitting room, the lights suddenly turned on, making her scream. Her friends and Ashraf burst into laughter, singing "Happy Birthday" in unison. Jeedarh's eyes widened in shock as she took in the scene before her. A beautifully decorated cake sat on the table, surrounded by balloons and gifts.

After the celebration, Ashraf took Jeedarh's hand, his eyes locked on hers. "From the moment I met you, I knew you were special," he said, his voice filled with emotion. "You light up my world in ways I never thought possible. Jeedarh, will you marry me?"

Jeedarh's heart skipped a beat as Ashraf dropped to one knee, holding up a small box containing a stunning diamond ring. Tears of joy streaming down her face, she nodded eagerly. "Yes, yes, a million times yes!"

The room erupted in cheers and applause as Ashraf slid the ring onto Jeedarh's finger. They shared a warm, tender hug, basking in the happiness of the moment. After what seemed like forever, Ashraf reluctantly bid Jeedarh farewell, leaving her friends to congratulate her on her engagement.

Jeedarh thanked them for the surprise party and Ashraf for making her feel so loved. As she drifted off to sleep that night, she knew this was just the beginning of their happily ever after.
