After five month
Jeedarh sat on the bed, lost in thought, bemoaning her body's transformation. "Why did I have to become a human balloon?!" she lamented, her eyes welling up with tears. Ever since she got pregnant, she felt like she'd lost her sleek, pre-baby physique to a sea of stretchy waistbands and unflattering maternity wear.
Just then, Ashraf walked in, lunch in hand, and found his usually radiant wife sobbing like a baby (no pun intended). "Hey, what's wrong? Did someone steal the last pickle?!" he joked, trying to lighten the mood.
But Jeedarh was beyond consolation. "It's just not faaaaair!" she wailed. "You get more handsome every day, while I turn into the Michelin Man! Ugh, why did I have to be the one to get pregnant?!"
Ashraf chuckled, trying to stifle his grin. "Oh, my love, you're perfect just the way you are – stretch marks, baby bump, and all! You're the most beautiful woman I've ever laid eyes on."
Jeedarh sniffled, her tears momentarily forgotten. "Really?"
"Really," Ashraf assured her, planting a kiss on her forehead. "Now, how about some lunch? I made your favorite – pickles and ice cream!"
Jeedarh giggled, her mood lifted by Ashraf's silly antics and sweet words. Maybe being a human balloon wasn't so bad after all, especially with a husband like Ashraf to inflate her ego.
Ashraf gallantly leading Jeedarh to the dining table, pulling out a chair for her like a true gentleman. They sit down together, and the atmosphere is filled with laughter and playful banter as they crack jokes and feed each other.
As they savor their meal, Ashraf suddenly suggests a mini picnic for the next day. Jeedarh's face lights up, and they start making plans. The next day, they dress in matching outfits, looking like a stylish pair, and head out for their mini adventure.
Under the warm sun, they spread a blanket, and Ashraf snaps photos and videos, capturing their joyful moments together. They bask in each other's company, creating memories that will last a lifetime. However, as the day wears on, Jeedarh starts to feel tired, and Ashraf, being the attentive husband he is, suggests they head back home.
As they return, Jeedarh's fatigue is evident, but her heart is full of happiness. Ashraf's thoughtfulness and playfulness have made their mini picnic a day to remember.
Jeedarh POV
"Ashraf takes such good care of me, it's like he's my guardian angel. He comes home early from work just to cook for me, making sure I eat well and stay healthy. He takes me on gentle strolls, holding my hand and chatting with me about his day. And when I get these crazy cravings, he rushes out to get me whatever I want, no matter how strange it may be. He won't even let me lift a finger, always saying 'you're not doing anything, you're carrying our baby, I'll do everything'. His love and care envelop me, making me feel so safe and cherished.
But little does he know, I'm hiding a secret from him, a secret that could change everything between us. My heart aches thinking about it, but for now, I just want to bask in his love and care, and pretend that everything is okay."
