It didn't take much to anger a hokage like Tobirama. Especially if the topic was: uchiha clan. But the straw that broke the camel's back was Kenji himself. The young boy was developing a particular power and tobirama decided to spy on Kenji to make sure he didn't cause trouble.
I swear one day I'll find out why that brat always smiles...
This is what Tobirama thought as he saw Kenji walking down the streets of the village with groceries bags bigger than him. The second hokage was standing on top of a roof, hidden from the paesant's sight and looking around like a hawk spying on its prey.
"Hey little brat it's you... What do you need"
A shopkeeper asks the boy who stops in front of the shop. Kenji smiles and points out a Wooden katana.
"how much for that?"
- "hoho.. Do you want to beat up the next wild cow that passes by with that? It's 36 ryos"
"haha yeah yeah sure... I just want to train on my own!"
Kenji let out a chuckle, rubbing the back of his head as he thinks about a wild cow chasing after him like a few weeks ago. After Kenji buys the katana he hooks it behind his back because if he hangs it on his side he would rub on the ground. Kenji was quite short... Little kiddo.
Evtnually Kenji arrives to his favorite spot to train, up to the hills and in front of the forest. He grabs his katana with both of his hands, ready to make some attacks like the real ninjas. Tobirama follows suit and hides on top of the branches, watching down at the kid that trains. Amused the hokage smirks... What are you training for young boy? Do you have any plans in mind?
Kenji continued to wave his katana as he saw the Ninja do. Holding it with both hands he make some simply slashes against one of the dummies of straw he made. The 10 years old was spending hours at the training ground, Tobirama leans against the tree on top of the branch watching quietly the boy. Almost impressed by the resilience and determination of the kid to keep going with the training. Sometimes Kenji would fall, missed the dummy with the katana or even lose balance... But little by little the kid manages to improve his skills and become pretty good at handling the blade just like he does with the kunais and shurikens that he loved to train with.
Just like his father...
Tobirama frowns in annoyance and looks down at Kenji training... Suddently he notices something peculiar. The eyes of the kid... Why aren't they black like usual but golden?
Not completely like his father... What are those eyes?
Tobirama doesn't like it at all... Kenji should have black eyes and eventually unlock the red sharingans, but for some reasons his eyes are as gold as the sun. After a few hours Kenji collapses sat to the ground, takes a kunai from a bag and some apples. Peeling the apples with the kunai he accidentally cuts off his finger
"Ow..! Dammit"
The blade manages to draw some blood from Kenji's finger but it stops right away, the wound fast closes and his skin restores leaving nothing but a line of blood. Kenji srughs off, now used to heal and not get hurt despite everything, placing his finger on his mouth to remove the blood and then going back cutting the apples.
What the hell did I witness?? Did the brat heal itself?
Tobirama stares in shock as he notice Kenji hurting himself accidentally and healing on his own. He stares trying to find any possible explanation, was this kid gifted with a power he didn't understand?
