Kenji, finally free from that oppression by Tobirama, runs and jumps from a branch to another... The forest have never been so quiet, only his light footsteps and the rustle of the leaves can be heard in the night.
Evaluating the terrain... By making sure to keep a good distance from nearby villages, Kenji manages to follow the river into the land of fire to ensure to not get lost and to have a source of water and food. He decides to camp for the night near the river. He couldn't light a fire of course, he needed to avoid attracting enemies or the Ninjas of Konoha. He sat on the grass, his back was laying against the trunk of a tree. He ate something simple like a homemade sandwich taken from his bag. Covering his head better with the hood, the young man's golden eyes sparkle under the light of the moon and its stars.
I hope those in Konoha understand why I left. If I had stayed in the village I would only have brought more trouble.
After a few minutes of indecision and planning his moves, Kenji begins to feel fatigue take over. He closes his eyes and lets himself be supported by the tree behind him. Lulled by the rustle of the leaves and the water of the flowing river...
It's time... The perfect moment to attack. In a flash the earth country Ninjas surround Kenji who is blissfully sleeping. Some of them grin and others watch amused by the sight of the immortal teen resting in such a place. They start with their plan...
They position themselves in a circle, the gestures of their hands indicating that they would try to seal Kenji before inflicting real damage on him. As soon as they place their hands on the ground, white runes appears and runs towards the boy. But as soon as the runes are about to get him, Kenji opens his golden eyes and disappears in a cloud of smoke.
"It was a copy!"
One of the ninjas shouts in surprise; the earth Shinobis all looks around wondering where the real one is...
Of course, they would wait for the moment I fell asleep to attack
Kenji was not naïve, he had foreseen such a thing and for this reason he was observing the Ninjas from the tree above them. Jumping down, ready to face them if necessary. He falls on the grass quietly, his golden eyes scans how many are there of them...
One... Two... Four... Eight... Ten...
No... There are much more of them.
The ninjas gets ready to attack once again, they make some hand gestures and places their hands down on the ground, creating huge stone walls all around Kenji to trap him and not let him escape.
Of course they would use their main element. A classic
So Kenji decides to go on the defensive. Once the walls tightened around him, the boy jumps from wall to wall, concentrating the chakra in his feet to stay attached to the vertical stones. Once he gets to the top, however, he finds the Ninjas there waiting for him, throwing a series of kunai and shurikens to prevent him from escaping the walls. Kenji takes one of his kunai and begins to make his way and move the blades away from himself. Precise and calculated, he jumps onto one of the Ninjas over the stone wall and throws his kunai straight onto his chest.
The ninja falls down with a grunt of pain and the others begin to attack with earth spikes and some hand to hand combat. Kenji avoid and reflects some shots... Others hits him but his wounds heals the second after, the adrenaline was so much in his body to not even giving him time to think about the wounds already healed.
