It's night... The temperature suddenly drops as Kenji travels through the wind lands. Avoiding paths too crowded with AMBU, the young immortal pulls up the hood of his cloak, covering himself completely. Just as he is about to reach a village nearby, a few hisses can be heard carried by the wind.
"uh... ? I feel trouble coming"
As soon as he turns around in the dark thin needles flies towards Kenji, he doesn't have time to recall a jutsu that one of the needles hits his neck making him groan from the acute pain. His eyes widen slightly as he realizes he's being attacked and soon jumps up to hide between the trees. Perched on the branch he listens for any other sound while removing the needle from his neck.
Along with some of his blood he sees another liquid fall on his hand.... Venom.
"Shit... This is really troublesome"
As another row of needles flies towards his way he jumps back landing on the grass and avoiding this time the attack. When his feet touch the ground, his legs almost give up for a moment making him straggering back and holding his head to focus. When he's back focused on his surroundings he feels finally some chakra that at first have been surpressed.
"Clever one... Hiding their chakra to get closer without me noticing"
He mutters between himself looking around himself cautiously.
"My body is weakened by the poison... They probably know I'm immune to the physical attacks. I need to leave before they manage something"
He puts his hands together to do a jutsu to help him get away sooner but as soon as he recalls his chakra he finds out it's surpressed by the venom spreading in his system.
The young immortal frowns not liking that at all, another gust of wind almost makes him lose his balance. Meanwhile what seems to be a wooden puppet ticking reaches Kenji's ear making him more aware of the danger. He decides to trust his own legs and begins to run, jumping from one tree to another to avoid being too uncovered. Something behind him gives a chase.
A few minutes later the wind increases, leaves fall from the trees and the branches where Kenji steps onto creaks a little. His physical conditions worsen the moment he realizes he can't feel much of his left arm, which is trouble.
The cape billows behind him as he keeps running, his right hand holding the arm trying to understand if he's losing the touch sense. The venom is already paralizing his body despite his immortality fighting it off.
Around him there's absolute silence making it even more scary for Kenji to bare, not knowing where the enemy is, not able to detect him.
When he reaches a village he fast gets in panting and holding his numb arm, glancing around and trying to mend with the crowd. He needed a safe place to hide and fight the venom with one of his techniques but again he gets dizzy, his golden eyes widens as he has to do his best to stay upright, accidentally bumping on a woman nearby.
She looks back up at Kenji a bit surprised and perplexed, seeing the young hooded man barely standing she holds his arm and says
"Excuse me are you alright? Hey... Is everything fine-... ..."
When Kenji raises his head and the woman sees his face, she soon realizes she has in front the immortal Shinobi in the wanted posters and backs away. Her eyes widen then shout out in fear.
Kenji joilts in surprise as the crowd of people begins to look at the woman and back at him. He pulls the hood better over his face and fast turns around, trying to get away. He can't run... Not anymore as the poison makes the oxygen's transport slow down within his blood vessels.
